Today’s Reading:
Deuteronomy 5
Deuteronomy 6
Deuteronomy 8

So you shall observe to do just as the Lord your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right or to the left. You shall walk in all the way which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.

Deuteronomy‬ ‭5‬:‭32‬-‭33‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Allow anticipation to arise. Allow excitement and expectation to arise. The ride has begun. The new ride has begun. This is a new ride. This is a new day. The twists and turns here are different. You cannot anticipate them based on where you have been. But these are days of great glory. These are days worth getting exited about. These are days where you release the tight grip of control you have held, and you flow with My Spirit. Release your tight grip of control and ride as a passenger of My Spirit.

Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. “Then it shall come about when the Lord your God brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you, great and splendid cities which you did not build, and houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and hewn cisterns which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you eat and are satisfied, then watch yourself, that you do not forget the Lord who brought you from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall fear only the Lord your God; and you shall worship Him and swear by His name.

Deuteronomy‬ ‭6‬:‭4‬-‭13‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Truth is rising. Let your faith arise too. These are days where the only other shoe that drops is that of the enemy. You do not need to proceed with a spirit of one who anticipates being jerked around, being short-changed, being disappointed. Those are the daily harvest of the enemy in this new place. Your portion is tangible. Your portion is yes and amen. Your portion is fulfillment and delight. It’s not a futuristic word, this is a now word. As you walk into the assignments I have called you to carry, as you stay close to My heart and keep yours clean and pure, you will experience tangible fulfillment at every stop. Moment by moment will be victories. Day by day will be advancement and excitement. These are not the difficult days of the wilderness where sowing was hard and reaping near impossible. These are days where it will seem like you got way more than you paid for, where you received above and beyond what was even thought possible. These are days that astound even the biggest of dreamers. Be faithful in them. Keep your heart clean and your motives pure in them, and you will reap a harvest far, far greater than you could have ever anticipated.

You shall not put the Lord your God to the test, as you tested Him at Massah. You should diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and His testimonies and His statutes which He has commanded you. You shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with you and that you may go in and possess the good land which the Lord swore to give your fathers, by driving out all your enemies from before you, as the Lord has spoken. “When your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What do the testimonies and the statutes and the judgments mean which the Lord our God commanded you?’ then you shall say to your son, ‘We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt, and the Lord brought us from Egypt with a mighty hand. Moreover, the Lord showed great and distressing signs and wonders before our eyes against Egypt, Pharaoh and all his household; He brought us out from there in order to bring us in, to give us the land which He had sworn to our fathers.’ So the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God for our good always and for our survival, as it is today. It will be righteousness for us if we are careful to observe all this commandment before the Lord our God, just as He commanded us.

Deuteronomy‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬-‭25‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

The time of the tables turning has happened. And now you are on the receiving end, rather than the being robbed end. This will be disorienting, but it is not a trick. This is not a game. This is the reality of this new time and place. The tables have turned. They are no longer turning. They have turned, and you are on the receiving side. My enemies will be robbed. This is a glorious and wonderful, absolutely delightful and fearsome time for My saints to be alive.

How to Respond

  • Humble yourself before the Lord. Ask Him to search your heart, purify your motives and realign you with His assignment for your life.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit search me. See if there is any impure motive or place of pain in my heart. Help me to identify and rid myself of those, so I can walk in holiness and advance purely and freely into the assignments You have given me. Thank You for moving us into days of bountiful harvest, of greater reaping and tangible reward than we could have ever imagined. Thank You for turning the tables on Your enemies, and positioning them as the ones to be robbed as we are now the ones to receive.
  • Declare, He led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground where there was no water; He brought water for you out of the rock of flint. In the wilderness He fed you manna which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do good for you in the end. Otherwise, you may say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.’ But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. —Deuteronomy‬ ‭8‬:‭15‬-‭18‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
  • Decree, I will not enter into this new time and place lightly. I will allow the Lord to search my heart and motives and purify anything that would hinder me from moving forward in the posture and mindset He has for me in this assignment. I will no longer be the one who is robbed and short-changed. I will be the one who receives bountifully and is astounded by the goodness of the Lord. He will exceed my every expectation in very tangible ways. I will see the robbers robbed and the righteous receive a ten-fold reward.
