Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 42
9 “Behold, the former things have come to pass,
Isaiah 42:9
Now I declare new things;
Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you.”
The Lord says,
Doors are opening. Doors are open and will be presented in rapid succession, in a flurry of activity. This is the time you have been waiting for — where you look around and all you see is change. It is here. It is today. It is THIS moment. Where you have felt like you are in a quiet lonely boat on stagnant water, you will start to feel the tide come in. You will start to feel the water moving and the boat rising. You will start to see life all around you — signs of life and real opportunity. You will have to reach out and hook some, and cast out to net others; but the opportunities are there, and they are hungry. They are plentiful, and the fishing will be fun, filled with great exciting catches — not hard fought with little return.
This is a time where if your boat is empty, if your ice chest is empty, it is because you aren’t activated. The fish (the opportunities) are there. They are all around you. These are days of delights, surprises and big leaps. Don’t let fear paralyze you or rob you of the chances I send your way. Take a deep breath and leap. Leap, leap, leap! Have fun doing it. In the Kingdom, work is fun. Life is a delight, a treasure and a gift.
16 “I will lead the blind by a way they do not know,
Isaiah 42:16
In paths they do not know I will guide them.
I will make darkness into light before them
And rugged places into plains.
These are the things I will do,
And I will not leave them undone.”
We are leaving the days of humbling, and we are leaving them for good. Leaps are coming that you couldn’t plan for, couldn’t anticipate and couldn’t orchestrate if you tried. Dreams ARE coming true. Some I Am dropping into your lap. Some you have to fish for. All require your yes and your initiative to hold onto, to grasp, to take ownership.
6 “I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness,
Isaiah 42:6
I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You,
And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the nations,
Rest in Me. Keep walking with Me. These are days of energy and movement. Rest looks different in this time. Rest looks like running at a comfortable but steady uptempo pace. Rest looks like leaping, but all for joy. It will all bring great joy. The decisions may cause pause and concern, and you may find yourself turning them over to look at angles. But there will be a lot of quick leaps. This is an acceleration season, and I Am making up for lost time. I Am giving back what the locusts have eaten, and I Am restoring it ten-fold. Dream big. The tide is coming in.
How to Respond
- Sit with the Lord and ask Him how you can shift your mindset from survival mode to advancing in opportunity mode.
- Pray, Lord, give me eyes to see the opportunities you put in my path. Help me to have the courage, wisdom and faith to seize the opportunities that delight me and those upon which your favor rests.
- Declare, I am leaving a season of humbling, and I am moving into a season of advancing and rapid acceleration filled with the Lord’s blessing.
- Decree,
I will walk closely with the Lord and heed His voice.
I will run at a good and steady pace toward the new season that the Lord has opened and declared.
I will seize the opportunities upon which the Lord’s grace and pleasure rest.
I will delight in the goodness of the Lord.
I will receive ten-fold restoration for all that the enemy has stolen.
I will rejoice in and celebrate every gift and right opportunity.
