Today’s Reading:
Deuteronomy 1
In the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses spoke to the children of Israel, according to all that the Lord had commanded him to give to them, after he had defeated Sihon the king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, who lived in Ashtaroth and Edrei. Across the Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses undertook to expound this law …
Deuteronomy 1:3-5 NASB1995
Sihon = rooting out, conclusion
Amorites = talkers
Heshbon = library of synthetic wisdom
Og = long necked; giant

I heard the Spirit of the Living God of all truth say,
The train has left the station. The train of destiny is already moving at a fast clip, though you may not see it or perceive it. To you it may still seem as though we are still stopped at the last station, but we are moving on from this place. We have left behind all that needed to be rejected, thrown out or abandoned — all that was not serving you any longer and even things that were unknowingly coming against you. All of that baggage was left behind at this last stop. And you picked up light. You picked up fresh hope. You picked up the first inklings of fresh vision. You picked up renewed energy and a lightness of spirit that are needed for the journey ahead.
The Lord our God spoke to us at Horeb, saying, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Turn and set your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amorites, and to all their neighbors in the Arabah, in the hill country and in the lowland and in the Negev and by the seacoast, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.
Deuteronomy 1:6-7 NASB1995
Fresh miracles are available here. New ways of operating and thinking and moving forward are available here. Reinvention and reconstitution are possible here and available here. But the train has left the station. There’s no turning back, and there’s no picking up what was left behind. This is a time of new purpose, of renewed and refined purpose that will require intricate detailed work. This is work that I Am teaching you how to weave together. This is work that does not have a template outside of the words I Am speaking to you by My Spirit. Don’t fear the unknown. It’s always been there. Relish in the adventure. Embrace the fresh freedom and the renewal of your spirit that has come from unloading the unnecessary and burdensome baggage that was not yours to carry. You have left that behind, and now you can feel the wind of My Spirit and My Ruach breath of life blowing onto you and into you and around you.
See, I have placed the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to them and their descendants after them.
Deuteronomy 1:8 NASB1995
These are days of new conquests. These are days of strategic and steady advancements that are visible and come with reward. These are not days whose efforts turn to ether. These are tactile days whose advancement is seen, established, marked and meaningful — and every day leads to more visible, tangible advancement. These are no longer days of circling the mountain. These are days of scaling, conquering and occupying the mountain to which I have sent you. These are days of My Kingdom coming, My will being done in your life and your sphere, in your place as it is in Heaven. Don’t back up. Don’t shy away. These are the days to be conquerors, innovators, pioneers and advancers. We are not those who shrink back and are destroyed. We are those who have faith and experience true life! These are the days of your advancement and occupation. The train has left the station.
How to Respond
- Rejoice. Praise the Lord. Overflow with thanksgiving. The period of waiting for the next phase of your destiny to begin is done.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You have moved me on from that place, that You have helped me to purge all of the unnecessary baggage and all of the baggage that was never mine. Thank You that You are moving me forward in my destiny and teaching me the intricate skills necessary to weave together something new that is for me and does not have a template. Help me to move forward unafraid and in full joy, knowing that You are leading me forward into a time of strong, tangible advancement — to conquer and to occupy.
- Declare, I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. – Romans 8:37
- Declare, He satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. – Psalm 107:9
- Decree, I am leaving behind all that has held me back. The Lord has moved me on from all that had me circling that last mountain. I will advance, conquer and occupy at the direction of the Lord my God. I will not fear, because He is with me. He has called me into a great new adventure that has no template.
