Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 32
Isaiah 41
Isaiah 45
2 “Who has aroused one from the east
Isaiah 41:2-4
Whom He calls in righteousness to His feet?
He delivers up nations before him
And subdues kings.
He makes them like dust with his sword,
As the wind-driven chaff with his bow.
3 “He pursues them, passing on in safety,
By a way he had not been traversing with his feet.
4 “Who has performed and accomplished it,
Calling forth the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last. I am He.’”
The Spirit of the Lord says,
This is a time where belief will beat the odds-on favorite every time. Belief is trumping those appointed for victory. Belief will out run, out wit and out race every man-appointed victor. Belief will outpace breeding. These are days where belief will outpace breeding. The appointed victors will fail, will fall, will come up short. As the transparent dark horse, the transparent unseen, unnoticed horse will trounce them all. He’s coming around from the outside — undetected, unnoticed — and he will rout the enemy. He will rout the opposition, the appointed victors, those strong horses of determined breeding.
45 Thus says the Lord to Cyrus His anointed,
Isaiah 45:1-3
Whom I have taken by the right hand,
To subdue nations before him
And to loose the loins of kings;
To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:
2 “I will go before you and make the rough places smooth;
I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars.
3 “I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden wealth of secret places,
So that you may know that it is I,
The Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.
As he finishes in victory the people will see that he stands taller, is stronger, is more powerful than these man-appointed, back-room bred horses who had been appointed as winners. The people will see that he is the one who deserved to win this race. The people will see that he is the one — the only one — who could have won that race. And the man-appointed victors will be seen as small, broken and weak. They will be seen as they truly are. This massive transparent white dark horse will command the attention of all the spectators, the bet keepers, the jockeys, the officials and the owners. And he will say, ”I am owned by no man. I am owned by the One True God.” And the people — all of the people — the innocent, the unaware, the despairing, the wicked, the complicit, the cheaters and the back room breeders will know, that he has won the race and he has won the day.
32 Behold, a king will reign righteously
Isaiah 32:1-4
And princes will rule justly.
2 Each will be like a refuge from the wind
And a shelter from the storm,
Like streams of water in a dry country,
Like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land.
3 Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded,
And the ears of those who hear will listen.
4 The mind of the hasty will discern the truth,
And the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly.
No contest, no outcry, no counterpoint will be raised. It will be plain for all to see. It will be what people have seen with their own eyes, and the world will stare on in awe. Silence will proceed the raucous outbursts of celebration. Silence will proceed the great shocking panic that comes upon the wicked. He has caught them all. He has bested them all. He has surprised and beat them all. He has trumped them all.
How to Respond
- Declare, the truth will set us free.
- Pray, Lord, thank You that You have a plan that You are working behind the scenes. Thank You for inviting us in to partner with You to bring truth, justice and a massive turnaround that the world so desperately needs. You are so good to us. Thank You Lord.
- Decree, the Lord’s chosen and anointed will always outpace and outwit man’s appointed. Every single time.
