Psalm 91
Hebrews 12
When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.
Psalms 91:1-4 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God of Truth says,
Righteousness will reign. My Spirit is being poured out on all flesh. Young men are seeing visions, old men are dreaming dreams. I Am the potter, and you are the clay. You are a vessel for service. You are fit for service and made for good works that I have prepared for you in advance. You are the light of the world. You are a city on a hill. You belong to a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Whom or what shall you fear? Neither death, nor plague, nor destruction, nor the arrow that flies by night. None of it shall by any means harm you. You are well protected in Me. You are living under the canopy of My grace in the zone of My protection.
When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us? God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm.
Psalms 91:9-11 TPT
My words never change. They always remain firm, fitted and fashioned like immovable pillars. They are written on your heart also. Abide in Me. Keep your eyes on Me. Remain in Me, and peace will be your portion. I have good works for you to do in the zone of My grace. It stretches father and wider than you can see or imagine, so don’t hesitate to run when I say run. My grace does not just cover you in the four walls of your house. It does not just cover you in the places with which you are familiar. It stretches farther than your eye or imagination can see, so run where I say run. Run without fear. Run without the full instruction. Run without the full picture or complete map to the destination. I Am with you, and I will guide you along the way. The important thing is that you go. The message is to go.
As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us. We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God! So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures.
Hebrews 12:1-3 TPT
You will find that you run under this great vast canopy of My grace the whole way. Don’t get caught up and entangled, disturbed or slowed down by what you see or hear. Run with the instruction and direction I have put in your heart.
These are grace days — days marked by grace, saturated with grace for My lovers who hear My voice, heed My instruction and run with the word I have put in their heart. You will feel My pleasure on it. You will feel My Presence and see markers and surprises of My favor all along the way. Run in the protected zone of My grace. Wherever I say go, My grace will cover you. You were made to run this race.
How to Respond
- Trust the prompting of the Lord and respond quickly and fully.
- Pray, Lord, help me to tune in to the frequency of Your voice. Help me to heed Your instruction, and move forward regardless of what I see or understand. I want to always be found doing the work You’ve called me to do, running the direction You’ve called me to go, in the company of people with whom You’ve called me into partnership.
- Declare, the Lord’s ways are higher than my ways and His thoughts are higher than my thoughts. I will lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways, I will acknowledge the Lord, and He will direct my path.
- Decree, the Lord is the potter, I am the clay. I am a fitted and willing vessel for the purposes of the Lord. I will run when and where He directs. I will be found busy about my Father’s business. I know that I am running covered by His grace and His favor will find me all along the way.
