Matthew 16
”Then on the most important day of the feast, the last day, Jesus stood and shouted out to the crowds—“All you thirsty ones, come to me! Come to me and drink! Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!”“

The Spirit of the Living God of Israel says,
I Am the elixir of life. I Am the fountain and the wellspring of life. I Am living water. Be so filled with Me, so overflowing with Me that evidence of My Spirit gushes forth from your life.
”A controversy was brewing among the people, with so many differing opinions about Jesus. Some were saying, “He’s a good man!” While others weren’t convinced and insisted, saying, “He’s just a demagogue.” Yet no one was bold enough to speak out publicly on Jesus’ behalf for fear of the Jewish leaders.“
John 7:12-13 TPT
My grace is poured out generously and lavishly in your life. Use it to conquer kings and kingdoms. Use it to address evil in your society. Use it to speak boldly and to unwaveringly proclaim the truth. Christ is risen indeed. Christ reigns eternally. Remind the forces of darkness that they have lost, and Jesus Christ is the Eternal Reigning King. Cause darkness to flee at the sound of your voice. Use My words — My scripture, my prophecy to push back the forces of hell and the gates of hell from the territory that is rightfully yours. Refuse evil on your grounds. Absolutely put hell on notice and refuse evil in the places you live, work and do life.
”When Jesus came to Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples this question: “What are the people saying about me, the Son of Man? Who do they believe I am?” They answered, “Some are convinced you are John the Baptizer, others say you are Elijah reincarnated, or Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” “But you—who do you say that I am?” Jesus asked. Simon Peter spoke up and said, “You are the Anointed One, the Son of the living God!” Jesus replied, “You are favored and privileged Simeon, son of Jonah! For you didn’t discover this on your own, but my Father in heaven has supernaturally revealed it to you. I give you the name Peter, a stone. And this rock will be the bedrock foundation on which I will build my church—my legislative assembly, and the power of death will not be able to overpower it! I will give you the keys of heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in heaven.”“
Matthew 16:13-19 TPT
Choose an offensive stance. Choose a forward leaning and proactive stance. This is not a time to be reactive. This is a time to be on offense. March boldly forward and proclaim all that I have put in your heart. Take back what is rightful yours through declarations and decrees. Mark out your territory in the spirit and do not give an inch. Hell is not welcome here. Hell has no place here. Hell must flee — not me and my family, not my community. It is hell that must flee. Cover and saturate your state in prayer. Make it a holy consecration before the Lord your God. Rededicate your state and nation to the Lord. Offer it up and offer yourselves up in renewed covenant with your Maker and King, the Eternal One who reigns forever and ever.
These are days of great reward for those who stay in the fight, for those who don’t abandon the fight and don’t abandon belief. Ours is the winning team. Ours is the winning side. Ours is the reigning King. Fight with your light. Fight with your powerful words that are My words, and don’t back up one inch. You stand on solid ground. You stand on the solid rock of Christ your King who rules and reigns forever.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord like the disciples did, I come to you to pray for boldness. Give me boldness to speak the truth, to proclaim Your words, to push back the forces and gates of hell and reclaim the territory that is rightfully mine. Help me to stand my ground as I stand firmly and unwaveringly on Christ my solid rock and reigning King who rules and reigns forever.
- Declare, I call forth provision. I call forth resourcing. I call forth the mighty ones whose time it is to rise. I call forth reinforcements and a mighty army of warriors for truth who will not be intimidated, who will not be silenced and who will not give an inch to darkness.
- Decree, I will not back down. I will not back up. I will not stop speaking and proclaiming the truth that the Lord has put in my heart. My state belongs to the Lord. My nation belongs to the Lord. My family belongs to the Lord. I am a child of the Most High King. My God never loses, never fails and never quits, so winning is inevitable as I remain in Him.
