Song of Songs 2
Song of Songs 8
Who is this one? She arises out of her desert, clinging to her beloved. When I awakened you under the apple tree, as you were feasting upon me, I awakened your innermost being with the travail of birth as you longed for more of me. Fasten me upon your heart as a seal of fire forevermore. This living, consuming flame will seal you as my prisoner of love. My passion is stronger than the chains of death and the grave, all consuming as the very flashes of fire from the burning heart of God. Place this fierce, unrelenting fire over your entire being. Rivers of pain and persecution will never extinguish this flame. Endless floods will be unable to quench this raging fire that burns within you. Everything will be consumed. It will stop at nothing as you yield everything to this furious fire until it won’t even seem to you like a sacrifice anymore.
Song of Songs 8:5-7 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Transition well. Transition well My dear. I have given you everything you need to click over into this new place of opportunity and possibility. [In that moment I saw a turnstile where once you click through, what was behind you is now separated.] You are clicking through into the new. The past is behind. The old season is behind. That rugged barren wilderness is behind. And the place of adventure is before you.
My place of prepared adventure and delight is before you. It is a new day, and it is time to say yes to adventure. It’s time to say yes to an open heart. It’s time to say yes to freedom, to the light of My glory on your skin, to childlike readiness for play and delight. It’s time. This is that time. That time is now.
The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.
Song of Songs 2:11-13 TPT
This is the day and the time for which you have been waiting. The adventures and good works I have prepared for you in advance are here . . . waiting . . . possible. Fully let go and leave behind all of that before time. All of last season and the seasons before that have led you to this place. Their purpose is served, but their weights and baggage, their artifacts can’t come here. This is a place to come empty handed. I need you to come here with empty hands. That is a requirement of entry. Watch what I put in your empty hands. Watch the delights, the rewards, the gifts that come into your empty hands.
I will guide you with My righteous right hand. We will go forward in this prepared place of adventure, good works, gifts and provision together. This is just the beginning.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord as He draws you into this decisively and distinctly new season. Don’t bring the old with you. Come empty-handed.
- Pray, Lord thank You that You have walked with me through the desert place, through the wildernesses and today You have led me into a brand new place and season with You. Help me to come honestly and purely, with open and empty hands that humbly say, have Your way Lord. All that I am and all that I have is yours.
- Declare, I will listen and pay attention and forget about my past. I will put behind me every attachment to the familiar, even those who were once close to me! For my royal Bridegroom is ravished by my beautiful brightness. I will bow in reverence before Him, for He is my Lord. – Adapted from Psalm 45:10-11
- Decree, I have clicked over into the new season. All of the baggage and weights from last season and the many before it cannot and will not come here. I am following the Lord into this distinctly new place and season with empty hands that He will fill — looking forward to adventure and good works that He prepared for me in advance. I will move forward in freedom with the readiness of a child to play and be delighted in the adventures that lie ahead.
