James 2
”For when the time was right, the Anointed One came and died to demonstrate his love for sinners who were entirely helpless, weak, and powerless to save themselves. Now, would anyone dare to die for the sake of a wicked person? We can all understand if someone was willing to die for a truly noble person. But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!“
Romans 5:6-8 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God of Glory says,
Where sin abounds grace does even more abound. My grace is flowing like rich honey into the hearts and lives of those you might call wicked. My grace is coming to those who have operated in direct opposition to Me, who have made it their life’s work to set themselves as intellectuals who mock and have no need for Me. My grace is flowing into their lives in a thick and undeniable way. Those who behaved with no regard for others, those who arrogantly set themselves against Me and my way, My Word and My people will see and experience My goodness richly, thickly, lavishly poured out into their laps. These are the days where many who were called wicked turn.
”So then, the law was introduced into God’s plan to bring the reality of human sinfulness out of hiding. And yet, wherever sin increased, there was more than enough of God’s grace to triumph all the more! And just as sin reigned through death, so also this sin-conquering grace will reign as king through righteousness, imparting eternal life through Jesus, our Lord and Messiah!“
Romans 5:20-21 TPT
These are the days where many who had been operating in alignment with the ways and precepts of evil, in unchecked permissiveness and self-gratification will turn. Those who set themselves up as high intellectuals who were above the need for God, who were superior to the need for a Savior will have their hearts captured by My grace, and they will turn. In places you see filled with thick darkness, suddenly those operating as chiefs of darkness, as mouthpieces of darkness and purveyors and champions of darkness will have an encounter with My thick, undeniable grace, and they will become sons and daughters of light. They will become the light in the darkness, and they will turn. This is a time of a great turning. This is a time where individuals who have lived behind the veil of deception will have an encounter behind that veil, an inward encounter with My incredible unmatched grace, and it will light them from the inside. It will remove the veil from the inside. It will unplug their ears from the inside. It will melt their heart of stone and make it a heart of flesh from the inside. And they will turn.
”So we must both speak and act in every respect like those who are destined to be tried by the perfect law of liberty, and remember that judgment is merciless for the one who judges others without mercy. So by showing mercy, you take dominion over judgment!“
James (Jacob) 2:12-13 TPT
This is not a time to be soft on wickedness. Speak the truth boldly, unapologetically and loudly. But know that many of those who are promoting wickedness will encounter My grace in the secret place, and they will turn. As you have heard it said, hate the sin and love and make room for the sinner to turn. Be ones who carry My grace for people — not endorsing or accepting actions, behavior or words that lead others astray. But be ones who carry My grace for those who even operate in thick darkness, because My Spirit and My great unmatched grace is working, is being poured out lavishly and thickly even in this gross darkness, and many, many, many will turn.
How to Respond
- Live in expectation to see many unlikely ones turn to the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You that You are pouring out Your grace lavishly in this time, especially upon people who seem least likely to receive it. Lord, cause a great turning as You have said. Bring the light of Your glory to the darkness. Transform mockers into bold, unapologetic worshippers.
- Declare, the Lord is turning many Sauls into Pauls in this time. The persecutors and the mockers will declare the supremacy of the Lord God Almighty and acknowledge Jesus Christ as King.
- Decree, I will see many leave the darkness and become light. I will see the goodness of God transform many unlikely ones, and I will see lives upended and rearranged because of an outpouring of God’s great grace in the secret place.
