Psalm 25
Psalm 34
Join me, everyone! Let’s praise the Lord together. Let’s make him famous! Let’s make his name glorious to all. Listen to my testimony: I cried to God in my distress and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears! Gaze upon him, join your life with his, and joy will come. Your faces will glisten with glory. You’ll never wear that shame-face again. When I had nothing, desperate and defeated, I cried out to the Lord and he heard me, bringing his miracle-deliverance when I needed it most.
Psalms 34:3-6 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
I’m going to guide My little children home. I’m taking them by the hand, and I’m guiding them back to My heart. They may not see it. They may not recognize it. Through cloudy eyes filled with tears and the broken hearts and grief that has overcome them, that has overwhelmed them, they may not see it. They may not recognize it. They may not feel it, but I Am taking them by then hand and guiding them back to My heart. I’m meeting them where they are and walking them to the place of personal encounter with Me. I’m bringing them to that place where they can fall on their knees and cry out, “Abba, help me. Abba, I need you. Abba, come save me.” And I will already be there holding their hand. When they lift their heads, when they open their eyes, they will see the Son. They will see Jesus. They will have a deep gnawing need for Jesus, and they will recognize it. They will recognize what they have left, what they have shunned, what they walked away from or missed altogether, what they misinterpreted or the point at which they allowed the deceiver to come in and snatch My Word from their hearts. They will not allow it again. They will not permit it again. They are not so naive now. They won’t walk away again. They won’t wander and stray again. This rescue is for keeps.
The angel of Yahweh stooped down to listen as I prayed, encircling me, empowering me, and showing me how to escape. He will do this for everyone who fears God. Drink deeply of the pleasures of this God. Experience for yourself the joyous mercies he gives to all who turn to hide themselves in him. Worship in awe and wonder, all you who’ve been made holy! For all who fear him will feast with plenty.
Psalms 34:7-9 TPT
This embrace is the one that changes everything. It changes eyes, hearts and hearing. It changes perspectives and values, and it melts hearts of stone. This is the embrace that brings the submission brought by My grace, provided for, made a way for by My great unending grace. The magnitude of change will rock those who know them. It will shift and change and cause rearranging in their lives, their patterns, their priorities, their habits, their families, even the words that come from their lips and what they allow their eyes to see. A shaking will precede the return, and the return will bring its own even greater shaking.
Evil will cause the death of the wicked, for they hate and persecute the devoted lovers of God. Make no mistake about it: God will hold them guilty and punish them; they will pay the penalty! But the Lord has paid for the freedom of his servants, and he will freely pardon those who love him. He will declare them free and innocent when they turn to hide themselves in him.
Psalms 34:21-22 TPT
This is a year marked by return. This is a year marked by repentance. This is a year marked by submission and the complete and utter laying down of lives for Me — the total laying down of former lives, of current lives for Me, for My Name’s sake, for My Kingdom. This is a year that will be marked by the great number of newly added laid down lovers to the family of God, to the Kingdom of God. They will have eyes only for Me, and they will build in ways that none before them could build. They will do outreach and evangelism in ways that only I could have taught and inspired. This is a season and time of things looking very different, of approaches and what gets built and how things move forward being very, very different.
How good you are to me! When people turn to you, Yahweh, they discover how easy you are to please—so faithful and true! Joyfully you teach them the proper path, even when they go astray. Keep showing the humble your path, and lead them into the best decision. Bring revelation-light that trains them in the truth. Loving are all the ways of Yahweh, loving and faithful for those who keep his covenant. For the honor of your name, Yahweh, never count my many sins, and forgive them all— lift their burden off of my life! Who are they that live in the holy fear of Yahweh? You will show them the right path to take. Then prosperity and favor will be their portion, and their descendants will inherit the earth.
Psalms 25:8-13 TPT
Don’t be one who needs things to move forward in the sequence and way they always have. This is a season to flow with the Spirit, to move with the new blueprints and methods that My Spirit is laying out, providing, equipping and birthing forth. Join hands with the new lovers of Mine, the returned lovers of Mine, and let’s rebuild the walls of My Kingdom. Let’s fortify the ever-expanding boundaries of My Kingdom. Let’s build and establish those structures that will serve the purposes of My Kingdom. I’ve poured out great grace on the builders.
How to Respond
- Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Thank You for Your wisdom and Your great love for us. Take these prodigals, these wandering ones, these rebellious ones and lost ones by the hand Lord. Walk them straight into encounter with Jesus. They have all been deceived and captured by the great liar. Open their eyes, ears, minds and hearts. Help them to see and acknowledge their deep, gnawing need that can only be filled by You. Start with the prodigals in my family [name them to Him].
- Declare, the prodigals in my family and circle [name them] have been taken by the hand of the Lord. They are being walked to direct encounter with Jesus. They are being moved forward to the place of recognition, repentance and surrender. They are walking into the arms of Jesus to find an embrace that will change their lives and the course of history. The enemy will not keep them. Jesus will not lose one of the sheep that has been entrusted into His hands.
- Decree, the Lord’s Word and promises and love endure forever. I will not give way to unbelief or doubt. I will look to the horizon and see that the Lord is indeed fulfilling His promise, His Word to bring the prodigals [name them] in my family and my circle home. As for me and my whole household and even extended family, we will serve the Lord.
