Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 61
61 The Spirit of the Lord [a]God is upon me,
Isaiah 61:1-3 NASB 1995
Because the Lord has anointed me
To bring good news to the [b]afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives
And [c]freedom to prisoners;
2 To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To grant those who mourn in Zion,
Giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called [d]oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
The Spirit of the Living God says,
My grace is sufficient for change, for striking change. Striking change is coming to the world. Striking change is coming to hearts. Striking change is coming to eyes. Striking change will open ears. It will be that the shaking causes the doors of hearts to open. It will be that the shaking causes the scales and wrong lenses to fall from people’s eyes. It will be that the shaking removes the stoppers from people’s ears allowing them to hear clearly. It will be that the shaking removes the veil that has covered and clouded people’s minds. The shaking, the vibration will cause truth to be known, accepted, seen, heard and selected. People will choose the truth when they can see it, hear it, perceive it. People will choose the truth during and after the shaking.
4 Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins,
Isaiah 61:4-8 NASB 1995
They will raise up the former devastations;
And they will repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
5 Strangers will stand and pasture your flocks,
And [e]foreigners will be your farmers and your vinedressers.
6 But you will be called the priests of the Lord;
You will be spoken of as ministers of our God.
You will eat the wealth of nations,
And in their [f]riches you will boast.
7 Instead of your shame you will have a double portion,
And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion.
Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land,
Everlasting joy will be theirs.
8 For I, the Lord, love justice,
I hate robbery [g]in the burnt offering;
And I will faithfully give them their recompense
And make an everlasting covenant with them.
This shaking will not be protracted. (I got was the sense that perhaps a few weeks or months — less than one year.) The shaking will not be endless, and the shaking will come to a sudden and abrupt end. Everything that can be shaken will have been shaken. It will be like a wild roller coaster ride of purity and prophecy has reached its stopping point. The people will exit slowly, unsurely with unsteady legs. But they will regain their footing. They walk in their own strength again. They will re-enter the world. And they will go out into an unfamiliar world that is theirs to design. With My heart, with the blueprint they can now see clearly in their own heart and own mind, I will help them to build beautiful lives and beautiful works atop the ancient foundations. Atop Christ the solid rock.
9 Then their offspring will be known among the nations,
Isaiah 61:9-11 NASB 1995
And their descendants in the midst of the peoples.
All who see them will recognize them
Because they are the offspring whom the Lord has blessed.
10 I will rejoice greatly in the Lord,
My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up,
So the Lord [h]God will cause righteousness and praise
To spring up before all the nations.
And the lives of these riders, these ones who have withstood the shaking and the wild ride of the roller coaster will be like the establishment of 10,000 beautiful consecrated villages that grow into towns and then cities. They become a glorious habitation filled with light. Sounds of worship will rise up without ceasing. Voices of praise and prayer will be heard rising up at all hours from each village and each home and each heart. This is a year of an abrupt shaking, a wild prophetic roller coaster ride and an abrupt exit to an unfamiliar place. This will all happen in this year. Remember Mine is a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. You are part of a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. You can enjoy the ride. You can really relish in and enjoy the ride.
How to Respond
- Stay connected to and grounded in the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit, thank You that You are moving in a way that changes our world for the better. Thank You for Your plan and Your unfathomable work to destroy strongholds of evil and return us to You as the ancient foundation. Help us to partner with You and do our part to restore our world to righteousness and justice — which we know starts with acknowledgement of a deep need and absolute dependence on You. Help us to be where we need to be, doing what You called us to do even amidst the shaking.
- Declare, the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness therein. He raises leaders up, and He takes leaders down. His is a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised. He is returning us to His ancient foundations. Righteousness and justice will spring up in the Earth again.
- Decree, I will stand firmly in the Lord my God, and I will not be shaken. I will ride a great prophetic roller coaster ride this year along with the whole world, yet I will be able to relish and enjoy it. I will steady those who are shaken. I will see the doors of hearts open, the scales fall from shuttered eyes, the plugs removed from stopped ears and the veil lifted from clouded minds. I will see many, many multitudes of unlikely people recognize, acknowledge and choose the truth this year.
