Today’s Reading:
Luke 5:1-11

“Jesus climbed into the boat belonging to Simon Peter and said to him, “Let me use your boat. Push it off a short distance away from the shore so I can speak to the crowd.” Jesus sat down and taught the people from the boat. When he had finished, he said to Peter, “Now row out to deep water to cast your nets and you will have a great catch.” “Master,” Peter replied, “we’ve just come back from fishing all night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you insist, we’ll go out again and let down our nets because of your word.””

Luke‬ ‭5:3-5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Lord says,
Push out from the shore. Push out, and drop your nets again. Drop your nets on the right side of the boat, and you will pull up a catch like you’ve never seen or dreamed. Today is the day of the miraculous catch. Today is the day of the big haul. Today is the day of the blessing so big, so loaded down that you will need your friends to help you bring it in.

“When they pulled up their nets, they were shocked to see a huge catch of fish, and their nets were ready to burst! They waved to their business partners in the other boat for help. They ended up completely filling both boats with fish until they began to sink!”

Luke‬ ‭5:6-7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

You know I’m here. Just as the Disciples knew I was there with them, because they saw me with their own eyes. So you will know that I Am with you, because you will feel My presence in a more tangible way. You will feel the tether that ties your heart to Mine as it pulls taut to remind you that I Am here. I Am with you. This is the day of a great catch that changes the trajectory of your work and ministry forever. This is the day of a life changing blessing that you will never forget. Push out your boat. Follow My instruction. Cast your nets on the right side. Follow My instructions even when they make no sense and seem like extra work. In your obedience you will haul in the biggest catch of your life. People will talk about this catch as legendary. It’s about obedience. It’s about shunning convention in favor of My voice. It’s about not being afraid of looking like a fool. It’s about My voice being the one that is THE most important. It’s about My voice being the primary point from which everything else is secondary.

“When Simon Peter saw this astonishing miracle, he knelt at Jesus’ feet and begged him, “Go away from me, Master, for I am a sinful man!” Simon Peter and the other fishermen—including his fishing partners, Jacob and John, the sons of Zebedee—were awestruck over the miracle catch of fish. Jesus answered, “Do not yield to your fear, Simon Peter. From now on, you will catch men for salvation!” After pulling their boats to the shore, they left everything behind and followed Jesus.”

Luke‬ ‭5:8-11‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Haul in your catch. It’s time for the extraordinary catch that I have appointed, that I have anointed, that I have ordained as a gift to you. You will see a show of My might and power in your personal life in a way you have never experienced. I Am here with you, and you will know it beyond the shadow of a doubt. This is a time of Me making Myself known, of Me becoming more real, more present, more certain than anything you can see, hear, taste or smell. You will know that I, the Lord your God Am with you. You will feel the connection that ties our hearts together. Be faithful in the little things and watch Me pour out a blessing so big, you could never have fathomed it. Hold on, it’s about to get wild.

How to Respond

  • Be obedient to the voice of the Lord, no matter how it looks or sounds.
  • Pray, Lord thank You for bringing us to a moment where You are making Yourself more known to us. Thank You for choosing to reveal Yourself in greater measure, for making it even more clear to me that You are with me and that You love me. Thank You for revealing Yourself through Your goodness, through Your blessing, through ways that delight me.
  • Declare, the Lord is making Himself known and is revealing His goodness and the connection of my heart to His.
  • Decree, I will walk in readiness and quick obedience to the voice of the Lord. I will experience a blessing so big in my personal life that it will require the help of friends and family to receive it. I will feel the closeness and realness of God in my life in a new, undeniable and tangible way that stirs up greater boldness and confidence in Him.
