Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 33
Joshua 11
2 O Lord, be gracious to us; we have waited for You.
Isaiah 33:2-6
Be their strength every morning,
Our salvation also in the time of distress.
3 At the sound of the tumult peoples flee;
At the lifting up of Yourself nations disperse.
4 Your spoil is gathered as the caterpillar gathers;
As locusts rushing about men rush about on it.
5 The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high;
He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
6 And He will be the stability of your times,
A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge;
The fear of the Lord is his treasure.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Trust and obey. These are days to trust, come what may. These are days to obey no matter how ridiculous My instruction sounds in the moment. These are days of wild exploits. These are days of usurping the enemy and taking back ground. These are days of victory. But it requires something from you. It requires humility of heart to seek Me. It requires a face ever seeking Mine. It requires a heart humble and bent toward Me, and it requires quick obedience. As you seek and follow Me in these days, it will be so much fun. These are days of routing the enemy. These are days where we have the very apparent upper hand. These are not days on the back foot. These are not days of a close miss. These are days of winning strategy, of powerful sudden moves.
6 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow at this time I will deliver all of them slain before Israel; you shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.” 7 So Joshua and all the people of war with him came upon them suddenly by the waters of Merom, and attacked them. 8 The Lord delivered them into the hand of Israel, so that they defeated them, and pursued them as far as Great Sidon and Misrephoth-maim and the valley of Mizpeh to the east; and they struck them until no survivor was left to them.9 Joshua did to them as the Lord had told him; he hamstrung their horses and burned their chariots with fire.
Joshua 11:6-9
These are days of knock out punches, and these are days of death blows to the enemy. These are days of advancement and of leaving the old behind. These are day of new ways of operating, new ways of gaining ground, new ways of succeeding. Listen for My whisper in your ear. Listen for My instruction, step-by-step in your heart. My strategy is unassuming. My strategy flies under the radar in broad daylight. My cloak of invisibility will cover you at key moments.
16 Thus Joshua took all that land: the hill country and all the Negev, all that land of Goshen, the lowland, the Arabah, the hill country of Israel and its lowland17 from Mount Halak, that rises toward Seir, even as far as Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon at the foot of Mount Hermon. And he captured all their kings and struck them down and put them to death.
Joshua 11:16-17
We will rout the enemy. We will have the upper hand, and we will take the high ground. We will take the plains, and we will take the hills. We will take the mountains, and we will take the valleys. We will take the deltas and we will take the canyons. We will take the dirt roads, and we will take the highways. We will take it all back. We will take it ALL BACK. We will take it all back.
Put your head on My shoulder. Listen closely for My voice. I’m giving out instructions and imprinting them on your heart, step-by-step. One step and then the next. Stay close to My heart. Walk this path to victory with Me.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, help me to clear out all that is hindering me from hearing Your voice clearly. I desire to walk in trust and quick obedience to You. I desire to be part of Your winning team. I desire to be active in this victory campaign and to take back all that was lost and stolen. Show me where to be, and tell me what to do. Give me the courage and strength to do it Lord.
- Declare, the Lord is giving instruction and strategy. He is turning the tide, and we have the upper hand. He is paving the way to victory and full restoration for America.
- Decree, I will walk in trust and obedience with the Lord my God. I will do my part as He instructs. I will be quick to obey, and I will obey completely — no matter how ridiculous or strange His instruction sounds. I will walk in the company of those who are obedient and victorious and partnered with the Lord God Almighty. The Lord will grant us great victories. We will recover all. We will take back all.
