Deuteronomy 11
Isaiah 43
18 “Do not call to mind the former things,
Isaiah 43:18-19
Or ponder things of the past.
19 “Behold, I will do something new,
Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it?
I will even make a roadway in the wilderness,
Rivers in the desert.
The Lord says,
Trust Me. Trust My moves, though they may confound you. Trust My motives; they are always pure. Trust My Word; I never lie. Trust My guiding; I never lead you astray. We are walking into different days. These are days filled with unfamiliar terrain. These are days like none other you have known. Trust Me, and take this on as an adventurer, as a pioneer.
Don’t concern yourself with the things of now that you are leaving behind. Don’t concern yourself with skills and professions that seem to get left behind or the tools upon which you have long relied. I waste nothing. What you’ve learned and where you have been is all woven into My purpose, and it is woven into where we are going now. It may look and feel like you are leaving much behind that you relied on, trusted, built, developed and honed. It may look like you are walking into completely unfamiliar territory. You will probably feel ill-equipped for this next season, this next chapter, this next move.
10 For the land, into which you are entering to possess it, is not like the land of Egypt from which you came, where you used to sow your seed and water it with your foot like a vegetable garden. 11 But the land into which you are about to cross to possess it, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven, 12 a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning even to the end of the year.
Deuteronomy 11:10-12
I Am using all that you have built in a new way, for a new purpose. Much of it may not even look like that for years. One day you may turn around and say, “Ah! I thought I left that previous place and took nothing with me, but look how the Lord has used it. And I never even noticed or realized.” Don’t fret about leaving those skills, connections and tools behind. I Am not bringing you into a new place and a new chapter and a new calling for you to fail. I Am bringing you there for life more abundant. I Am bringing you there to draw out talents and gifts that have been lying dormant. I Am bringing you there to stretch and delight you. So walk with Me hand-in-hand into the unknown. Walk with Me into this place where it appears there is no road. Be willing to leave all that you relied upon to get you this far. Be willing to feel like you are going forward unequipped and empty handed.
8 “You shall therefore keep every commandment which I am commanding you today, so that you may be strong and go in and possess the land into which you are about to cross to possess it; 9 so that you may prolong your days on the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Deuteronomy 11:8-9
This scary and unfamiliar place is where I will launch you. You can’t see it from here, and you may not be even be able to believe it. But I Am walking you right up to the launchpad of your destiny. I Am walking you to a place of a launching into great advancement and multiplication for My Name’s sake and for My glory. I long to see My faithful ones prosper. And prosper you will — in soul and in life. Walk closely with Me. Trust Me to guide you — even in places that are dimly lit, seem to have no path and are filled with rugged and unfamiliar terrain. It’s going to be worth it. It going to be so worth it.
Nations Spotlight: Egypt
This time we are moving into will see a great move in Egypt for Jesus and a great move of prosperity that blesses the people of that nation. She will be a blessing to her neighbors and a witness and testimony of My goodness, My kindness and my ever outstretched arm. Watch for signs of revival in Egypt. You will see her blossom and blooming a way she never has before.
How to Respond
- Choose to trust the Lord.
- Determine that You will follow Him without hesitation onto the road less traveled.
- Pray, Lord, help Me to hear Your voice and perceive Your guiding, so that I can be positioned for destiny. Help me to walk in quick obedience and be willing to leave all I know behind to follow you into this new chapter.
- Declare, the Lord is setting me up for personal victory, prosperity and advancement beyond my wildest dreams.
- Decree, I will walk with the Lord into the unknown. I will take the Lord’s hand and trust His faithfulness. If the Lord calls me to leave all of my familiar tools and skills behind to follow Him, I will do it. The Lord is launching me into destiny, advancement, prosperity and great delights.
- Decree, we will see Egypt become a nation that has turned to the Lord. Egyptian people are having God encounters, and they are turning their hearts and lives to the Lord Jesus Christ even now. We will see a great revival and a great economic boom that blesses Egypt and the entire region.
