Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 59-60
19 So they will fear the name of the Lord from the west
Isaiah 59:19-21
And His glory from the rising of the sun,
For He will come like a rushing stream
Which the wind of the Lord drives.
20 “A Redeemer will come to Zion,
And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” declares the Lord.
21 “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.”
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Return to the intimacy of your first love. I Am wooing and beckoning and calling My wandering former lovers home. I Am inviting them back. I Am putting out calls to hearts and inviting them to come back to Me, their first love. This is a season. This fall will be a season of many former lovers receiving the call to come back to My heart. This fall will see many wanderers, many wayward ones, many former lovers of Mine turn around and come back home to Me and My heart. This fall will be marked as a season of many, many, many returning to Me as their first love. The invitations have started to go out now, and they will continue to go out. These former lovers of Mine will feel the invitations with increasing volume and love and urgency on their hearts, and it will draw many to their knees. It will draw many, many home to to Me.
“Arise, shine; for your light has come,
Isaiah 60:1-3
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
3 “Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
As these wandering lovers return home to Me, the light inside of them will begin to shine brightly. It will not be something that can be ignored or explained away. The reality of it will not be swept under a rug. It will be too powerful, and they will be too numerous. These newly renewed lovers, these newly enlightened by the truth and with the truth and in the truth will go out as great, bright incandescent lights into a dark world in a very dark and uncertain time. Yet My joy will be their strength. My Spirit will be their guide. They will be as bold as lions, and they will rescue many from the jaws of hell. These former lovers will be renewed and restored and infused with such vigor and passion, that their rescue missions and testimonies will snatch many directly from the jaws of hell.
4 “Lift up your eyes round about and see;
Isaiah 60:4-5, 9
They all gather together, they come to you.
Your sons will come from afar,
And your daughters will be carried in the arms.
5 “Then you will see and be radiant,
And your heart will thrill and rejoice;
Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you,
The wealth of the nations will come to you.
9 “Surely the coastlands will wait for Me;
And the ships of Tarshish will come first,
To bring your sons from afar,
Their silver and their gold with them,
For the name of the Lord your God,
And for the Holy One of Israel because He has glorified you.
The world will seem to tilt onto its side. It’s because I’m tipping things back to right. We are in an extraordinary and extreme time of restoration, of transformation, of destruction and reformation. Everything will change. Everything is changing. And everything will change.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord You are so faithful. Thank You for never giving up on us, for never giving up or forgetting a single one of Your wandering and lost sheep. Thank You that You are drawing many and will draw many more of those who once loved You back to Your heart. Lord, may [insert names here] be among them. Thank You that You are a faithful, unchanging God who answers prayer.
- Declare, many who once loved the Lord are being invited back to His heart, and many more will be invited back this fall. Many, many, many of these wandering former lovers will return to His heart.
- Decree, I will see the wanderers and the wayward ones, the rebellious ones who turned their hearts away from the Lord return to Him with fire, passion and unwavering devotion. All in my family who have left their first love with return. Each of my friends who has deserted the Lord will return to Him in this time of great invitation. Even former church leaders who have walked away from the Lord will be restored in this time.
