16 “Now no one after lighting a lamp covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand, so that those who come in may see the light. 17 For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light.
Luke 8:16-17
The Lord says,
Rejoice, rejoice, the King of glory is here! Let your heart overflow with praise. It is resurrection season. It is here. It is now. The wait is no longer. Big shifts are happening before your eyes. Big shifts will continue to happen. Unexpected turnarounds, about faces, 180s and U-turns. Change is here and more change is coming.
Change is bursting onto the scene. It’s popping like popcorn in cities across the globe. The popcorn explosions of change are only beginning. Just as popcorn popping starts slowly — pop, pop, pop — and then picks up speed and volume, so too will the changes you see globally and locally happen this way. Exposure, pop. Lies revealed, pop, pop. Deliberate destructive choices against the interest of the people come to light, pop, pop, pop. And these will pop in a fury, and fury will be the response.
3 “I declared the former things long ago
Isaiah 48:3
And they went forth from My mouth, and I proclaimed them.
Suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.
This is a time to move with caution, react with measure and seek Me for wisdom. This is not a time to follow the crowd, to get swept up in emotion. This is a time to be very measured in your response, because change is happening now with or without you. Be wise in your movements. Be cautious in your actions. The revelations will whip many into a frenzy. In this frothy time, wisdom may be to hang back. Wisdom may be to proceed with caution. Wisdom may be to go about your business and participate at a distance through prayer, worship and powerful declarations. Wisdom will not be for all to run to the front lines. It will be to watch, discern and choose your place accordingly. This is a time where it will be critical to hear My voice and operate in swift obedience — for safety, for prudence.
10 Who is among you that fears the Lord,
Isaiah 50:10
That obeys the voice of His servant,
That walks in darkness and has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.
These are days of great shaking, tremendous uncertainty and where the ground beneath your feet is shifting. Hold on to Me. Keep your eyes on Me. Master yourself and your emotions. Don’t let them dictate your response or actions in these volatile days of change, exposure and revealing.
17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel,
Isaiah 48:17
“I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit,
Who leads you in the way you should go.
Seek Me in the quiet place, even if you have to create a place of quiet to do that. Pay attention to the nudges in your spirit. Don’t fight against them. Obey them. Trust them. Go with them. I Am in them. That is wisdom in this hour.
I Am the God of perfect peace. Regardless of what is happening around you, make time to dwell with Me in the secret place, and you can walk through this time of change, change, change in perfect peace. You can sleep in perfect peace despite the storm raging around you. I Am perfect peace. Come.
How to Respond
- Prioritize time with the Lord, seeking Him, His wisdom and His assignment for you in this season.
- Pray, Lord, show Me how to best prepare for the days ahead. How can I and my family be equipped for the work You have for us in this time? Show me what to do. Give me your insight and wisdom for preparing.
- Declare, the Lord has moved us into resurrection days of mighty turnarounds, big shifts and great change. We are walking into increasing change for the good of the people.
- Decree, these are the days where what was hidden in darkness is being revealed. These are the days of unexpected change for the good. These are days where the people demand change. These are days where tremendous reality-altering change happens in one day. The Lord has equipped His people to thrive through this time of change.
