Today’s Readings:
Proverbs 8
6 “Listen, for I [wisdom] will speak noble things;
Proverbs 8:6-9
And the opening of my lips will reveal right things.
7 “For my mouth will utter truth;
And wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8 “All the utterances of my mouth are in righteousness;
There is nothing crooked or perverted in them.
9 “They are all straightforward to him who understands,
And right to those who find knowledge.
The Lord says,
Stir up joy. Stir up affection for Me. Stir up righteous anger. Stir up vision for the future. Stir up a demand for justice. Stir up a willingness to fight for what is right.
You are warring against depravity. You are warring against lies, deception, vile behavior and vile thinking. You are fighting against disrespect, dishonor and attitudes from hell. Wage your war with truth. Wage your war with a firm, immovable stance of truth, with declarations of truth and an unwavering insistence on truth.
12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,
Proverbs 8:12-13
And I find knowledge and discretion.
13 “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverted mouth, I hate.
Corruption spreads like cancer and desires to taint you and your children. Remain pure. Be holy even as I Am holy. This is a fight between good and evil, right and wrong, truth and lies, integrity and corruption, honor and dishonor, purity and defilement. You are fighting for your future. You are fighting for future generations. Stand strong. Stand firm. Don’t be intimidated by lying liars and ones who seek to validate their own dysfunction. Stand for truth against the headwinds of hell. Stand for truth. I WILL cause it to prevail.
I Am with you in this storm. I Am walking with you every step of the way. Don’t back up, not even one step. Give no ground to the enemy and show no signs of intimidation.
10 [Wisdom says] “Take my instruction and not silver,
Proverbs 8:10-11
And knowledge rather than choicest gold.
11 “For wisdom is better than jewels;
And all desirable things cannot compare with her.
Let My joy be your strength. Let My song fill you with hope, conviction and the will to keep moving forward. Your worship is a mighty weapon. It encourages and strengthens you. It intimidates the enemy and causes him to flee. Worship accomplishes much.
Declarations of truth accomplish much. These declarations rooted in My Word empower angels to go on mission and perform them. Declarations of My Word also serve to strengthen your resolve. They are a line in the sand for you and a reminder of where you stand.
Obedience accomplishes much. Obedience is a positioning tool. It gets you where I need you to be for divine setups, for the fight, for receipt of miracles, for protection, for favor. It’s also a discipline for you. It reminds you that you have humbled yourself and tucked yourself in the safety of My covering wings. It reminds you that you are not doing this alone. You are moving and taking orders from your Commander, the God of Angel Armies, the Lord of Heaven and Earth. Obedience is a great weapon and a shield.
14 “Counsel is mine and sound wisdom;
Proverbs 8:14-17
I am understanding, power is mine.
15 “By me kings reign,
And rulers decree justice.
16 “By me princes rule, and nobles,
All who judge rightly.
17 “I love those who love me;
And those who diligently seek me will find me.
Fight with valor My brave and dear one. I Am with you, and I Am for you. No weapon of hell shall prevail against you. The outcome is already known, but you must keep fighting to accomplish it. Stay in the fight. Don’t back down. Don’t compromise. Don’t relent. Keep advancing. Victory is ours.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord and stay in the fight for what is right, worthy, lovely, holy, pure, true and just.
- Pray, Lord, give me wisdom for the battle. Help me not to expend energy on worthless things. Help me to focus my attention where you would have me to act. Empower me and strengthen me for the work you have called me to do; and help me to know your voice well so I can be quick to obey it.
- Declare, the Lord God Almighty is warring with us. He has equipped us with everything we need to win this war, and the victory is already His. I will continue to fight for what is right, holy, true, and just.
- Decree, the battle is already won. The victory is the Lord’s. The gates of hell and the weapons of hell will not prevail against the Lord’s army. The enemy will be exposed, embarrassed, tricked into revealing battle plans and defeated at every turn. The Lord, His angel armies and His people win.
