Today’s Reading:
2 Thessalonians 2-3
“We always have to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, for you are dearly loved by the Lord. He proved it by choosing you from the beginning for salvation through the Spirit, who set you apart for holiness, and through your belief in the truth. To this end he handpicked you for salvation through the gospel so that you would have the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. So then, dear family, stand firm with a masterful grip of the teachings we gave you, either by word of mouth or by our letter. Now may the Lord Jesus Christ and our Father God, who loved us and in his wonderful grace gave us eternal comfort and a beautiful hope that cannot fail, encourage your hearts and inspire you with strength to always do and speak what is good and beautiful in his eyes.”
2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Truth is established. Truth is set up as big and obvious as a giant bullseye in the public square. My warriors are throwing battle axes, and striking truth. As they strike truth, they chip away at the lies. As they strike truth, the clash, the connection with truth resonates in the hearts of men and women, boys and girls, because I have set truth in their hearts from eternity past. This is a time of the relentless striking of truth. Truth does not get diminished as the strikes increase. Rather than being diminished by the strikes of My warriors, the sound of truth grows louder with every strike. The volume of truth as the warriors hit the mark gains in volume and in resonance.
“And pray that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people, for not everyone believes the message. But the Lord Yahweh is always faithful to place you on a firm foundation and guard you from the Evil One. We have complete confidence in the Lord concerning you and we are sure that you are doing and will continue to do what we have told you. Now may the Lord move your hearts into a greater understanding of God’s pure love for you and into Christ’s steadfast endurance.”
2 Thessalonians 3:2-5 TPT
Don’t tire My warriors of truth. Keep pursuing the target. Keep striking at truth. Though it seems like a wearisome task, though it seems like your numbers are gaining only by drips and drabs — the resonance and the volume of your strikes is increasing. You may not notice it as you stand there at your station, throwing your shots, hitting the mark and hitting it again and again and again. It is not for nothing. It is not for nothing. The sound of truth is growing louder and louder. The frequency is traveling farther and deeper into hearts, and it is permeating and cracking the walls that lies have built. As the sound of truth grows louder, the institutions and the facades made of lies are being cracked by the ever-increasing volume and frequency of truth. Truth does not change, does not move. She just receives the hits on her mark like a faithful giant target, and the striking at her chips away at the lies. The striking and connecting with truth creates a sound and a frequency that destroys the bond made by lies. And the truth will stay standing valiantly and truly long after the strikes on her have destroyed every fabrication against her, every fortification made against her, and every covering made to conceal her.

My warriors, keep striking at the truth. Connect with the truth. Throw your battle axes at the mark of truth relentlessly over and over and over again. Don’t let your throwing arm get tired by the striking at truth. It matters. The connection and the resonance created by striking truth is destroying every construct made by lies. The truth will be all that remains. Keep striking at the truth. My glorious, undeniable, inescapable truth will remain. When all is said and done, truth will stand valiant and tall, looking down upon the ashes of the lies that all of your faithful strikes on truth destroyed.
How to Respond
- Keep pursuing, speaking and hitting on the truth that the Lord has set as your target.
- Pray, Holy Spirit, I love You. Thank You for assigning me as a warrior to a target. Thank You that my work is not in vain, but it is destroying lies and dismantling fabrications set up to obfuscate and conceal truth. Help me to stay encouraged. Fill me afresh. Bring more soldiers to help in the continual battering of truth, so we can destroy every lie.
- Declare, the Lord is truth, and Holy Spirit guides us unerringly into all truth.
- Decree, I will man my battle station, and I will relentlessly strike the target of truth set before me. I will be found faithful in the striking of truth and the destruction of lies, because I am diligently pursuing the work the Lord has set before me.
