Proverbs 21
The lovers of God who chase after righteousness will find all their dreams come true: an abundant life drenched with favor and a fountain that overflows with satisfaction.

I heard the Spirit of the Living God, the God of Angel Armies say,
Choices are coming — choices to walk in deeper and choices to take an unknown path. This is a time of commitment and covenant, and it’s also time for some things that are completely new. Keep your eyes open. Keep your heart open. Keep that space open that we have created — the space you are using now for hearing, for availability, for dreaming with Me and seeing a greater vision — it’s important that that time stays free. It’s important that that space stays free.
A warrior filled with wisdom ascends into the high place and releases breakthrough, bringing down the strongholds of the mighty.
Proverbs 21:22 TPT
War strategists cannot get mired down in other duties. War strategists must be set apart, steps apart so they can see the bigger picture. I have set you apart to be a wartime strategist. This necessitates time. This necessitates clear vision and clear hearing. This requires a heart of love for the soldiers and an uncompromising commitment to win. The job of a war strategist requires that you not be partial to a particular approach. Hold them all loosely as possibilities and tools. When you marry yourself to one, you are destined to fail for holding it too closely. Strategies are like weapons, they can each serve different purposes and are meant for different situations and settings. Hold every one loosely. But draw ever closer to Me.
You can do your best to prepare for the battle, but ultimate victory comes from the Lord God.
Proverbs 21:31 TPT
This is a time to fiercely guard your time in the perch with Me up-higher. I have much to show you up here. I have many secrets and strategies to impart. This season will require more time up here in the hidden place with Me. Don’t be drawn by the temptation to leave the perch for the battlefield when I have made you and set you apart as a strategist, a war strategist whose job above all is to commune with Me. Know the difference. Wars are won up here with Me.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit show me my place in the war. Show me where You want me to be and how You want me to spend my time. I will prioritize drawing closer to You, hearing from You and seeing from Your perspective. Thank You that You have a job for each of us in this war. Help us to not get drawn off-task but instead double down in commitment and focus as we draw nearer to You.
- Declare, look how you’ve made all your lovers to flourish like palm trees, each one growing in victory, standing with strength! You’ve transplanted them into your heavenly courtyard where they are thriving before you. For in your presence they will still overflow and be anointed. Even in their old age they will stay fresh, bearing luscious fruit and abiding faithfully. Psalm 92:12-14
- Decree, the Lord is the ultimate war strategist. King Jesus has won every victory. The Lord will impart winning war strategies as I draw nearer to Him and spend time with Him. I will not hold any strategy tightly or be partial to one. I will hold all of the possible strategies loosely, so I can remain agile and poised for change as the Lord directs. As we stay in the secret place with the Lord and as we move in quick obedience at His direction, we will win this war. The victory will be His.
