Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 58
Psalm 54
2 Peter 1

Yahweh will always guide you where to go and what to do. He will fill you with refreshment even when you are in a dry, difficult place. He will continually restore strength to you, so you will flourish like a well-watered garden and like an ever-flowing, trustworthy spring of blessing.

Isaiah‬ ‭58‬:‭11‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
Grace upon grace to you. I’m bringing grace upon grace to you, so you can run your race. I’m strengthening and refreshing your weary legs once again. I’m shodding your feed with the shoes of an experienced runner. This is more like a triathlon than a traditional foot race. It will require multiple skills for different terrains. It will require agility and discernment. You will need to know when to switch modes of advancement and which mode to shift into. This is a tactic that will confuse the enemy, and it will keep your heart, mind and feet in the game.

Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness. As a result of this, he has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises we can experience partnership with the divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.

2 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

My grace is sufficient for each leg of the journey. Each leg of the race will present new challenges, new ideas and new opportunities, and from My grace, solutions will arise. This is not a time where everything will level out and be the same, where you reach the kind of new normal that people have been looking to achieve. This is a place of many terrains, and it requires multiple modalities. It requires discernment and adaptability to maneuver, to transition and to succeed. This is a time of many transitions. You will feel as though you are in a continual relay race, where one leg gives way to a transition —perhaps much quicker, more startlingly, more suddenly than expected. And then it will happen again and again. This is not a time for settling in. This is a time for being very awake, very attuned to My Spirit. It’s a time for both sharpened agility and sharpened discernment.

Lord, I will offer myself freely, and everything I am I give to you. I will worship and praise your name, O Lord, for it is precious to me.

Psalms‬ ‭54‬:‭6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is a time of adventure. Don’t be dismayed by the challenging and ever-changing terrain. It is disorienting, because you are not circling that mountain any longer. The terrain is changing, because we are making great, efficient progress toward a new day and a new place. The journey will be beautiful and adventure-filled, and you will meet like-minded, like-hearted travelers along the way.

Allow me to shod your feet for this new and epic journey. Prepare your heart and your mind to adapt, change and grow. This is a season that will be marked in your memory as one of discernment, agility and most of all, My grace.

How to Respond

  • Yield to the Lord’s desire to equip you for the new races ahead.
  • Pray, Lord thank You that You have never abandoned me to run this race alone. Thank You that You are with me, coaching me, instructing me, equipping me and bringing the right people alongside me. Help me to be very attuned to Your Spirit, so I can move in discernment and agility as Your grace marks out the path in front of me.
  • Declare, What harm could a man bring to me? With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes. The roaring praises of God fill my heart as I trust his promises. – Psalms‬ ‭56‬:‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬
  • Decree, As I yield to the Lord’s instruction and equipping, I will be strengthened and refreshed for a new stage of this race. I will keep my ear close to His chest, so I can hear and discern how to operate and where to go. I will be agile as the Lord instructs me to switch modes of advancement, and my entire path will be marked out by His great and amazing grace.
