Today’s Readings:
Psalms 14-16

16 Preserve me, O God, for I take refuge in You.
2 I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good besides You.”

Psalm 16:1-2

The Lord says,
Hold on to Me. Lay your burdens down at My feet. Let go of the stress. Refuse the fear and anxiety that plague you. Hold on to Me. Hold on My love. Get close to Me. Let go of the chatter, the noise, the swirl. The enemy’s attacks have ramped up. He counts on winning the war by attrition of opposition. Stand firm. Steel your spine, and hold onto Me. Trust Me. Lean into Me. When the waves and the winds kick up, hide yourself in the safety of My wings.

4 The sorrows of those who have bartered for another god will be multiplied;
I shall not pour out their drink offerings of blood,
Nor will I take their names upon my lips.
5 The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You support my lot.

Psalm 16:4-5

Be united to justice. Be united to truth. Be united to one another in love, and don’t give back one inch. Don’t back up, and don’t back down. We are advancing against the fiery gates of hell. We are pushing them back. We are winning. Don’t let this rogue spiritual attack set you back, knock you down or put you on the defense. No My child, My warrior, My lover, you are to advance. Remain on the offense. Remain in attack mode. This is about advancing, taking ground and not relenting for even one minute. I know you are battle weary. I know you can’t see beyond the smoke and the fog of the battle in front of you, but we are winning.

7 I will bless the Lord who has counseled me;
Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night.
8 I have set the Lord continually before me;
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
9 Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will dwell securely.

Psalm 16:7-9

Stir up excitement, stir up fresh wind and fresh fire. Stir up joy. Now is a time for worship, for rejoicing, for strengthening yourself in Me. Dig into the Word. Dig into scriptures of encouragement, hope and victory. Remind yourself continually of My unending, unfailing faithfulness. Ours is the victory, and ours will be the victory. We are not here on this mount for defeat. We have taken more ground than you know. The fog and the haze are thick, so you can’t see how far we’ve come. Hold on My dear. Stay close to Me. We are advancing and we are winning. Keep your wits about you. Remain in control of your mind. Don’t let the enemy get a hook in you and cause you to lose control of the war for your own mind. Hold firmly to the helmet of your salvation, and reject lies and false narratives about how this war ends. I Am The Sovereign Lord, and I declare the winner. I win, and those with Me win. I Am the reward, and the beautiful land is the reward.

11 You will make known to me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

Psalm 16:11

Keep your chin up My dear one. Stay in the fight. Determine to keep advancing. It is for your future and for your children, for the nation and generations to come. Hold on to Me. Stay in the fight. We have come so far, and we are past the point of no return.

How to Respond

  • Get with the Lord and release all anxiety and cares to Him.
  • Determine to steel your spine and stay on the offensive against the continual attacks of the enemy.
  • Pray, Lord, guide Me in Your Word. Show me what I need to see and hear to be strengthened today, to regroup and to reset My focus on You. Help me to get off of the back foot, off of defense and switch back into the mode of offense and advancing.
  • Declare, the Lord has already declared the winners and the losers of this war. He wins, and we win with Him.
  • Decree,
    I will not remain on the back foot.
    I am a warrior of the Lord’s and I will advance. I will charge, and I will be on the winning side.
    I will live in unity, in justice and in truth.
    We will conquer the enemies of the Living God.
    We will regain control of this land.
    We will rebuild this nation from it’s ancient foundations in the Lord, and we will occupy until Our Reigning Savior returns.
