Today’s Reading:
Psalm 18
Psalm 68
Proverbs 24
Let them sing their celebration-songs for the coming of the cloud rider whose name is Yah! To the fatherless he is a father. To the widow he is a champion friend. The lonely he makes part of a family. The prisoners he leads into prosperity until they sing for joy. This is our Holy God in his Holy Place! But for the rebels there is heartache and despair.
Psalms 68:4-6 TPT
I heard the Spirit of the Living God of Grace say,
Worship the Lord with a new song, because it’s a new day in America. My grace has unfurled before you as a great carpet that cushions your feet and marks your territory. The limits of this new territory are nearly indistinguishable. I Am vastly extending the grace and the place to which I have called you. What once felt like a very tight squeeze, like a very narrow almost tightrope walk of a very thin mountain path is now looking much more expansive, is now looking like a limitless place whose boundaries are nearly beyond sight. The path hasn’t changed. But your perspective has. My trust in you has opened up great expanses that were not previously discernible or available.
When I was at my weakest, my enemies attacked— but the Lord held on to me. His love broke open the way, and he brought me into a beautiful, broad place. He rescued me—because his delight is in me! He rewarded me for doing what’s right and staying pure. I will follow his commands and I’ll not sin by ceasing to follow him, no matter what. For I’ve kept my eyes focused on his righteous words, and I’ve obeyed everything that he’s told me to do. I’ve been blameless before him and followed all his ways, keeping my heart pure. And so Yahweh has rewarded me according to my righteousness, because I kept my heart clean before his eyes. Good people will taste your goodness. And to those who are loyal to you, you love to prove that you are loyal and true.
Psalms 18:18-25 TPT
This new grace place is not one that looks like the life of a nomad any longer. It provides a great expanse, a great spacious place for you to build, to establish and to dwell. I Am bringing you into the place of your habitation and your occupation. This nomadic lifestyle is coming to a close, because the advancement through the places you have pioneered in discovering, uncovering and retaking territory has brought you into a new place. Your pioneering is now in the building, in the rebuilding, in the design and innovation. You have stepped into the magnificent freedom of pioneering building with Me. You will have to shift gears. You will have to shift mindsets.
O Lord, it was you who marched in front of your people, leading them through the wasteland. Pause in his presence. The earth shook beneath your feet; the heavens filled with clouds before the presence of the God of Sinai. The sacred mountain shook at the sight of the face of Israel’s God. You, O God, sent the reviving rain upon your weary inheritance, showers of blessing to refresh it. So there your people settled. And in your kindness you provided the poor with abundance.
Psalms 68:7-10 TPT
What once felt fragile and fleeting and hard fought for will become the staff I place in your hand as you govern, dream, supervise, decree, establish and build with Me. You have come out from the narrow path of intense squeezing, testing, scraping, enduring and fighting. You have come out from the place of weariness and living exposed to the winds of adversity — to being in a place of extraordinary grace to dream, to breathe, to dwell, to establish and build magnificent things with Me.
Welcome off of the road weary traveler. Welcome to the marked-out, grace-paved place of your habitation, occupation and building with Me.
How to Respond
- Worship the Lord. Thank Him with a new song for the extraordinary grace He has poured out in your life.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You are opening a new place, a new season and new assignments. Help me to be flexible, adaptable and to shift from my nomadic mindset to the occupation mindset. Help me to see and understand the authority You have given me in the place You have marked out for me to rule, reign, establish and build with You.
- Declare, this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.
- Declare, wise people are builders — they build families, businesses, communities. And through intelligence and insight their enterprises are established and endure. Because of their skilled leadership, the hearts of people are filled with the treasures of wisdom and the pleasures of spiritual wealth. — Proverbs 24:3-4 TPT
- Declare, the Lord has opened my tight path of travel into a wide-open spacious place to occupy, dwell, dream and build with Him. I will align my mindset and my efforts to the new season and the new place. I will walk in authority in this place, because of all the Lord has brought me through to get here.
