Psalm 149
23 Shout for joy, O heavens, for the Lord has done it!
Isaiah 44:23
Shout joyfully, you lower parts of the earth;
Break forth into a shout of joy, you mountains,
O forest, and every tree in it;
For the Lord has redeemed Jacob
And in Israel He shows forth His glory.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Good days are not just ahead. They are here. Good days are here. Glorious days are here. The mourning and defeat are gone, and beautiful, clear blue sky days are here to stay. It won’t be long and they will even get bluer, brighter, clearer. We are in an upward trajectory. Things are looking up. Things are moving in the right direction. Look around and see the beauty. Look around and see all that is new, all that is positive, all that has grown and changed and turned around. More of that is coming. We have hit and are now in blue sky days.
24 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb,
Isaiah 44:24-26
“I, the Lord, am the maker of all things,
Stretching out the heavens by Myself
And spreading out the earth all alone,
25 Causing the omens of boasters to fail,
Making fools out of diviners,
Causing wise men to draw back
And turning their knowledge into foolishness,
26 Confirming the word of His servant
And performing the purpose of His messengers.
It is I who says of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be inhabited!’
And of the cities of Judah, ‘They shall be built.’
And I will raise up her ruins again.
Release your hands from wringing. Release your heart from worry, concern and troubles. Breathe deeply and exhale that anxiety, stress and worry. Can’t you see we are in blue sky days? And this is blue sky country? The skies are blue and clear over this land, no matter what the enemy may say. Blue skies are here, and they are pushing out the grey, the clouds, the darkness and the pain. Joy and life abundant will overtake and overwhelm the darkness. Blue skies are chasing away the gray. Be one who lives, acknowledges and receives these blue sky days with all joy. It doesn’t mean there’s no work. It doesn’t mean that the war is over. But the conditions have changed. The conditions have shifted tremendously in our favor. And the battles will not seem so difficult. The warfare will not be so tedious and intense.
“Break forth with dancing! Make music and sing God’s praises with the rhythm of drums! For he enjoys his faithful lovers. He adorns the humble with his beauty, and he loves to give them victory. His godly lovers triumph in the glory of God, and their joyful praises will rise even while others sleep. God’s high and holy praises fill their mouths, for their shouted praises are their weapons of war! These warring weapons will bring vengeance on the nations and every resistant power— to bind kings with chains and rulers with iron shackles. Praise-filled warriors will enforce the judgment decreed against their enemies. This is the honor he gives to all his godly lovers. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!”

Momentum is on your side. Favor and victory are on your side. Practice and battle experience are now on your side. Now it will feel as though you are in the major leagues playing against the junior varsity team. I have turned the tables. You have the miles of battles under your belt now. You have fighting in low visibility ground warfare under your belt now. Now that you are battle tested and have remained, I Am changing the conditions in your favor, and the enemy will look like a fool and a clown. These are blue sky days of winning, of truly living and of victory after victory as the enemy hangs his head in defeat. Welcome to the blue sky days. They are from Me.
How to Respond
- Spend time in worship, honoring the Lord.
- Pray, Lord thank You that You have brought me through the difficult, gray and intense days of battles. Thank You that You have sustained me, trained me and made me battle tested. Thank You that You have brought me to blue sky days and the victories will start getting racked up. Thank You for changing the conditions of warfare in my favor. You are so good.
- Declare, blue sky days are here. The Lord has brought us through the dark days of low visibility, high intensity warfare, and He has ushered us in to blue sky days where the conditions are now in our favor.
- Decree, I am on the side of the Lord. The battles we face will seem easier and the days are now brighter. The conditions of battle are perfect for victory for those on the side of the Lord. Those with the Lord will now begin to bring embarrassment and defeat to the enemy around the clock.
