Today’s Reading:
Luke 24
John 7
“Very early that Sunday morning, the women made their way to the tomb, carrying the spices they had prepared. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Jesus’ mother Mary. Arriving at the tomb they discovered that the huge stone covering the entrance had been rolled aside, They stood there, stunned and perplexed. Suddenly, two men appeared above them in dazzling white robes shining like lightning. Terrified, the women fell to the ground on their faces. The men in white said to them, “Why would you look for the Living One in a tomb? He is not here, for he has risen!’
Luke 24:1-2, 4-5, 10 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
My light within you is resurrection proof. Why are you searching for the living amongst the dead? See how My light shines forth from your heart? See how it acts as a light to your path? Why are you looking for the living amongst the dead? I Am living, not dead. My truth is flowing out of you like a river. It started as a trickle, then as a stream. Now it is a river. So why do you search for the living amongst the dead? Look among the resurrected sons. For faith. For courage. Look for the living amongst the living. Look for life where there is life.
“Then on the most important day of the feast, the last day, Jesus stood and shouted out to the crowds—“All you thirsty ones, come to me! Come to me and drink! Believe in me so that rivers of living water will burst out from within you, flowing from your innermost being, just like the Scripture says!” Jesus was prophesying about the Holy Spirit that believers were being prepared to receive. But the Holy Spirit had not yet been poured out upon them, because Jesus had not yet been unveiled in his full splendor.”
John 7:37-39 TPT
Look for those wellsprings of eternal life. They are springing up. They are bubbling forth from the ground. I will cause those wellsprings that are beautiful little representations of life to burst forth wildly and crack wide open. The springs that watered a few and delighted a few will burst forth with the power of the Mississippi River. They will be held back no longer. Don’t search for the living amongst the dead. Search for life amongst the living. Search for life where there is abundant life. Search for the living amongst the living. Go find life where there is life. Don’t lay down roots in a cemetery of religion. Go out in search of the wellsprings of life. They just might burst wide open when you arrive. Search for the living amongst the living. Search for life amongst life. Why do you stay and waller in these dry places, in these dead places among those who are dead? You will find life amongst the living. You will find abundant life amongst those who are abundantly living.
45 Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”
Luke 24:45-49
Search for My wellsprings of life, and you will find them. I will point you to them. Even if you are the only one gathered by the wellspring, linger. Even if only two or three or five are gathered around this little wellspring of living water, linger. I will cause it to burst forth with power from on high. I will cause it to burst forth with power that you have never seen, tasted, experienced or fathomed. Search for the living amongst the living, and you will find much much more than you bargained for.
How to Respond
- Search out places that are alive and hungry and seeking the Lord in purity without religious constraints or an agenda. Search out places where the glory of the Lord is appearing. Search out places where the manifestations of the power of the Lord are alive and active. Linger in those places.
- Pray, Holy Spirit, would You guide me to those places where You are showing up? Would you guide me to the places where Your presence is tangible? Would you guide me to the wellsprings of living water where I can seek You amongst the living?
- Declare, the Lord is moving in purity and power. Wellsprings of living water will burst forth into mighty explosive exhibits of the Lord’s power, and they will show no signs of ceasing.
- Decree, I will seek the Lord amongst the living. I will seek out wellsprings of living water, and I will not be deterred. You will not find me seeking the living amongst the dead. You will find me in the company of the living.
