Today’s Reading:
Psalm 62
Isaiah 41

“I am standing in absolute stillness, silent before the one I love, waiting as long as it takes for him to rescue me. Only God is my Savior, and he will not fail me. For he alone is my safe place. His wraparound presence always protects me as my champion defender. There’s no risk of failure with God! So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me? God’s glory is all around me! His wraparound presence is all I need, for the Lord is my Savior, my hero, and my life-giving strength.”

Psalms‬ ‭62:5-7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God says,
Faith cedes control to God. Fear cedes control to the enemy. Fear gives you the false sense of control, but all it does is lead to compromise, to short-changing the outcome. Faith acknowledges that you are not in control. It puts all the chips on the table and says, here Dad, I’ve done all I can. The outcome is up to you. Fear wrestles control from the hand of God and gives you lesser, poorer outcomes. With faith, you are always victorious.

“Trust only in God every moment! Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him. Believe me when I tell you—he will help you! Pause in his presence Before God all the people of the earth, high or low, are like smoke that disappears, like a vapor that quickly vanishes away. Compared to God they’re nothing but vanity, nothing at all! The wealth of the world is nothing to God. So if your wealth increases, don’t be boastful or put your trust in your money. And don’t you think for a moment that you can get away with stealing by overcharging others just to get more for yourself! God said to me once and for all, “All the strength and power you need flows from me!” And again I heard it clearly said, “All the love you need is found in me!” And it’s true that you repay people for what they do.”

Psalms‬ ‭62:8-12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

It’s time to live by faith and not by sight. What you see is of little consequence. I Am the Lord, I do what I please. I move the hearts of kings like channels of water. Wouldn’t I do that for you? Don’t I do that for you in ways unseen and unacknowledged? Be of faith and good courage. Be strong, and do not dismay. I Am the Lord your God. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Your job is to trust, to believe and to lift your holy hands in worship to Me, your Savior and King. Will I not come through for you? Will I not advance my troops on your behalf? Will we not see every victory? I never lie, never lose, never fail. I never leave you nor forsake you. You have not, because you ask not. So rise up in courage and in faith. Believe, and you will see it. Trust, and I will perform it. I Am the God of always more than enough. Super-abundance is my name.

9 You whom I [the Lord] have [a]taken from the ends of the earth,
And called from its remotest parts And said to you, ‘You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not rejected you [even though you are exiled]. 10 ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ 11 “Indeed, all those who are angry with you will be put to shame and humiliated; Those who strive against you will be as nothing and will perish. 12 “You shall search for those who quarrel with you, but will not find them; They who war against you will be as nothing, as nothing at all. 13 “For I the Lord your God keep hold of your right hand; [I am the Lord],Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’

Isaiah 41:9-13 AMP

This is not a time for small thinking, for settling, for compromise or for fear. This is a time to rise up in bold courage and strengthen yourself in the Lord. This is a time to sing songs of worship and wage them as a weapon against the enemy of your mind, heart and future. Wield your weapon of praise. And see fear conquered, so faith can rise up. Faith will see a victory every time. Every time. Every single time. Fear is a loser. Compromise is a loser. Faith is always a victor. Live by faith. Live in faith, and you will only see victory. In faith, what looks to others like a loss is a stepping stone to victory. Warriors and worshippers of faith have eyes to see the victory.

How to Respond

  • Refuse fear. Destroy fear through worship, praise and thanksgiving to the Lord.
  • Pray, Lord, You are the God of always more than enough. You are the God who never fails us. You are the all-victorious one. Our faith in You never fails us, because You never fail us. Help me to live by faith and not by sight. Help me to refuse fear in every aspect of my life, because my God and King reigns. You will bring the victory every time I choose faith and put the outcome in Your hands.
  • Declare, our God is an awesome God. He reigns from Heaven above with wisdom, power and love, our God is an awesome God. He never lies, never leaves, never fails, never loses. He is the always victorious one. He is the one in whom I can completely and absolutely trust.
  • Decree, I will not partner with fear by looking at worst-case scenarios. I will trust in the Lord my God. I will wage war on fear through worship, through praise, through thanksgiving and sharing beautiful stories of my testimony in Jesus. I will put the outcomes in the Lord’s hands and believe in faith for the best, for the victory.
