Today’s Reading:
Ephesians 2
“But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ! Throughout the coming ages we will be the visible display of the infinite riches of his grace and kindness, which was showered upon us in Jesus Christ. For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ! So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.”
Ephesians 2:4-9 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Grace for today. I give more than enough. My grace is more than sufficient for today, and it will take you directly into tomorrow. My grace is like a bullet train. It will powerfully, smoothly and effectively carry you through. My grace is poured out on your life and into your life. You are dripping with My grace. This will smooth the edges. This will smooth the path. This will make the way. Where you are looking for the path forward, look no further than the grace I have given you. Look no further than the richly poured out anointing on your life and body. My grace and anointing are here. They light up your life. They make the difference. They speak of the better substance. They point to the greatest truth of all.
“We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it! So don’t forget that you were not born as Jews and were uncircumcised (circumcision itself is just a work of man’s hands); you had none of the Jewish covenants and laws; you were foreigners to Israel’s incredible heritage; you were without the covenants and prophetic promises of the Messiah, the promised hope, and without God. Yet look at you now! Everything is new! Although you were once distant and far away from God, now you have been brought delightfully close to him through the sacred blood of Jesus—you have actually been united to Christ! Our reconciling “Peace” is Jesus! He has made Jew and non-Jew one in Christ. By dying as our sacrifice, he has broken down every wall of prejudice that separated us and has now made us equal through our union with Christ. Ethnic hatred has been dissolved by the crucifixion of his precious body on the cross. The legal code that stood condemning every one of us has now been repealed by his command. His triune essence has made peace between us by starting over—forming one new race of humanity, Jews and non-Jews fused together in himself! Two have now become one, and we live restored to God and reconciled in the body of Christ. Through his crucifixion, hatred died.”
Ephesians 2:10-16 TPT
My grace and My anointing on your life are not just for you. They are to point to the Heavenly substance of which you are now made. It’s to point to the Kingdom to which you belong. It’s to point to the better way and the better day that is available for all — men and women, boys and girls. Your life lived in the covering and outpouring of My grace and My anointing points to the better substance. It points to the holy way, the true way, the pure way, the life way. The anointing and the grace I have so lavishly poured out in your life are to point them to Me. As Paul greatly desired that his preaching to the Gentiles would stir up a holy jealousy and desire in the Jews, so is My grace and My anointing, the blessing of My unrestrained favor on your life. It is so others sit up and take notice, so they lean in to get to know you, and they get to see Me. The anointing and the grace I have poured out in your life and continue to pour without ceasing are to accomplish the purposes I have for you and to draw men and women, boys and girls to Myself. The grace is for you, and the grace is for them. The anointing is for you, and the anointing is for them.
“For the Messiah has come to preach this sweet message of peace to you, the ones who were distant, and to those who are near. And now, because we are united to Christ, we both have equal and direct access in the realm of the Holy Spirit to come before the Father! So, you are not foreigners or guests, but rather you are the children of the city of the holy ones, with all the rights as family members of the household of God. You are rising like the perfectly fitted stones of the temple; and your lives have been built up together upon the foundation laid by the apostles and prophets, and best of all, you are connected to the Head Cornerstone of the building, the Anointed One, Jesus Christ himself! This entire building is under construction and is continually growing under his supervision until it rises up completed as the holy temple of the Lord himself. This means that God is transforming each one of you into the Holy of Holies, his dwelling place, through the power of the Holy Spirit living in you!”
Ephesians 2:17-22 TPT
You are to be a holy magnet of My goodness, drawing men and women, boys and girls in closer to see, to inspect this goodness for themselves. So as they come, say the truth. You must say the truth. This is the moment for your testimony. This is the moment for praise. This is the moment to point the drawn in ones, the wondering ones, the curious ones to My heart, My goodness, My faithfulness and My ways. Don’t hoard the anointing. Don’t try to cover up and hide My grace. It is obvious and visible for a purpose. You are to point them to My ways.
How to Respond
- Pray, Holy Spirit, thank You for lavishing and graciously pouring out Your grace and anointing on my life for me and to draw many to Yourself. Help me to live a life worthy of the calling and purposes You have placed inside of me. Help me to be a conduit and an example of Your great grace and a holy representation of Your Kingdom.
- Declare, the Lord’s grace and anointing are lavishly and unceasingly being poured out on the faithful to accomplish the Lord’s purposes and to draw many to Him.
- Decree, I live under the waterfall of the Lord’s grace and anointing being unceasingly poured out. I am a man/woman who walks in tremendous favor and blessing, so that I can accomplish all the Lord has put in my heart to do and so that I am a magnet of His goodness. Because of His favor on my life, I have the opportunity to share the testimonies of His goodness, His faithfulness, His truth and His love in ways no one else can.
