Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 55
1 John 4
Psalm 18

16 He rescued me from the mighty waters
and drew me to himself!
17 Even though I was helpless in the hands
of my hateful, strong enemy,
you were good to deliver me.
18 When I was at my weakest, my enemies attacked—
but the Lord held on to me.
19 His love broke open the way,
and he brought me into a beautiful, broad place.
He rescued me—because his delight is in me!

Psalm 18:16-19

The Lord says,
You are not alone. I have been with you in the dark. I have sat with you and held your hand. You are not alone. I have seen every tear you’ve shed, and I’ve felt every blow you’ve taken from the world, from friends, from loved ones. You’re not alone. Don’t think you’re wrestling alone in the dark with this. I Am here, and I Am the light of the world. I Am the light before you and the light within you. Look to Me and you will see the path. Look to Me and you will see the way out. You will see the way up. You will know the way back and the way forward.

I promise you, you’re not alone. I’m here. I’m closer than the air you breathe. I Am the very air inside your lungs. Rest on Me. Be revived in Me. You’re tired and wounded, bruised and battered. Come. Take refuge in Me. Allow My Spirit to revive you and mend the broken places. Allow My love and light to nurse you back to life. Allow the power of My love to infuse your body with strength and faith and hope. Be renewed. Be restored.

6 Seek the Lord Yahweh when he makes himself approachable;
call upon him when you sense he is near.
7 The wicked need to abandon their ways,
and sinful ones need to banish every evil thought.
Let them return to Yahweh,
and they will experience his compassionate mercy.
Yes, let them return to God,
for he will lavish forgiveness upon them.
8 “For my thoughts about mercy are not like your thoughts,
and my ways are different from yours.
9 As high as the heavens are above the earth,
so my ways and my thoughts are higher than yours.

Isaiah 55:6-9

Come, sit, dwell with Me. Climb up here next to Me, and sit by My side. Catch fresh vision with Me. Breathe clean air with Me. You are not alone. I promise you, you’re not alone. Open My Word and see My love for you written on every page. Open My Word, and see how to live. Open My Word, and see who I Am. You are on a discovery journey, and you can only find out who you truly are if you are looking for Me. I made you in My image. So you can’t find you if you don’t first find Me, the One whose image you bear. I Am the mold, you are the imprint. Find yourself in Me. Find your purpose in Me. Find your most true nature in Me. Take My hand. I will lead you gently down this new road of discovery. As you get more comfortable with the terrain, you will see that it is an adventure. You will see that I have placed love, and curiosity and the heart of a hunter inside of you. You are a great seeker of wisdom, of understanding, of delights.

15 Those who give thanks that Jesus is the Son of God live in God, and God lives in them. 16 We have come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and we trust in the love he has for us.
God is love! Those who are living in love are living in God, and God lives through them.

1 John 4:15-17

Don’t despair. I Am here. Look to Me. Look to My light, and reach out to Me. We will find you together. I will reveal Myself to you as you seek Me, and as you gain that revelation, you will see your own reflection in Me. Your heart will identify and grab hold of your purpose as you immerse yourself in finding Me, discovering Me, learning about My ways, My character and My heart.

Don’t despair. You are not alone. I Am with you. I Am for you, and I have made a way for you to find your true self. Come, follow Me and we will do it together.

  • Ask Him to give you clear eyes to see Him and fresh vision for the future.
  • Pursue the Lord in prayer, in worship and in reading scripture. He will reveal Himself to you.
  • Ask the Lord to take you on a journey of discovering Him and finding yourself in Him.
