Today’s Reading:
Psalm 84
Psalm 103
John 1
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
Psalms 84:11 NASB1995
I heard the Spirit of the Living God say,
No good thing will I withhold from those who walk uprightly. But you have to receive it. It’s time to learn the grace of receiving. It’s time to accept the place of one who walks in abundance, prosperity and delight. I do not withhold. But your job is to receive.
The same way a loving father feels toward his children— that’s but a sample of your tender feelings toward us, your beloved children, who live in awe of you.
Psalms 103:13 TPT
Swing wide the gates of your heart. Open up your eyes, your heart and your horizons, and look out with expectation. Look out as a dearly loved child whose father is coming home from a business trip. You know I have good gifts for you. But you can only enjoy them if you receive them from My hand. Fulfillment doesn’t just appear. It takes engaging. You have to participate. You have to engage. You have to receive. You have been pulling it forth, so look with expectation and receive. This is the final part. The hard work has already been done. The faith, the waiting, the stretching, the refining has already been done. The receiving should be the easy part. This should be the simple and most delightful part. Position yourself — your heart, your eyes, your life to receive, and receive you shall. I will abundantly pour out every blessing and walk with you joyfully in the days marked fulfillment in your life. Your job is to receive.
He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,
John 1:11-12 NASB1995
Swing wide oh gates. Open your eyes and your heart to see the good that the Lord has brought. Now is the time to receive. Uncross your arms. Lift up your head, and look out. Now is the time to open up and receive. This is your portion. But you must participate to receive. A new day is upon you. Receive.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord and walk with Him in childlike faith.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You for Your Presence, Your guidance, Your faithfulness and Your instruction. Help me to walk with You in expectation and with a heart and mind ready to receive. I don’t want to miss any good thing You have for me.
- Declare, He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the Lord And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face—even Jacob. Selah. Lift up your heads, O gates, And be lifted up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in! — Psalms 24:4-7 NASB1995
- Decree, The days of fulfillment are here. My role is to participate with the Lord and posture myself to receive. I will live in expectation of great things — of answered prayer and desires fulfilled. And I will hold them in my hands as I walk in agreement with and obedience to the Lord.
