4 How blessed is the one whom You choose and bring near to You
Psalm 65:4-5
To dwell in Your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.
5 By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea;
The Lord says,
New life. I’m bringing you a whole new life. If you love the life you have now, you will love what I Am bringing even more. If you feel there are areas of lack, of despair, of need, you will be overwhelmed by the goodness and change I pour out, bringing you new life. I don’t make empty promises, and I never lie. There is no false way within Me. I Am bringing new life, and it is a beautiful springtime-like outpouring of gifts that are fresh, new, nascent opportunities. These are new things that I Am bringing into your life. They will appear as chances, opportunities, connections, relationships, moments. And yours is the choice of whether to to receive them, to make them your own and to cultivate them in a garden of new life.
11 You will make known to me the path of life;
Psalm 16:11
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
I Am pouring out this springtime rain of new. You will see many delightful things come your way. Listen for My voice. Some are right-on-target, wonderful additions to collect and bring into your life. Others may be nice-to-haves that steal nutrients, time and energy away from the glorious destiny-driven things on offer. Pay attention to My voice. Keep your ear close to My chest, so you can hear what is worthy of your time, your energy, your love, your effort to make the change. I will guide you and show you which of these new springtime offers is worthy of being picked up, cared for and cultivated in your life. You will feel My Presence and My pleasure on the right things, the best things. The ehh things, the okay things, the not best fit things will leave you with a feeling of unease and uncertainty. Leave them.
Some of these choices will have to be made quickly, in the moment, in the offer. So it is vital to know My voice and recognize My Presence. I Am opening up an abundance of options, opportunities and connections to you in this time and the near days ahead. So position yourself to make decisions, to respond, to choose. Do not get bogged down in analysis paralysis. My instruction is to look for the offers upon which My pleasure rests, which thrill your heart and light up your imagination. Those are the ones that you should be picking. Those are the ones that will be worth investment, time and energy. Those are the ones that will mark your destiny.
5 The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
Psalm 16:5-8
You support my lot.
6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.
7 I will bless the Lord who has counseled me;
Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night.
8 I have set the Lord continually before me;
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Do it with all joy. Enter these days with delight, anticipation and great expectation of being connected with destiny-launching gifts. Live light. Live agile. Live ready to say yes to those offers that light up your soul. These are days where new life is on offer. It’s My delight to spread offers and options out like a luxurious banquet before you; and it is My delight to walk with you as you observe and choose those morsels, those aspects of the meal and entree that will bring you the greatest delight. It is like I am sending you to the world’s most delectable spread of a feast, and amongst all of the options and amazing delicacies — with My guiding, with My quiet guidance — you make the perfect plate. And not one thing that isn’t delicious, perfect, exquisitely and specifically made to delight you is on it.
Sharpen your hearing. Cultivate a rich time with Me, so you are prepared to choose the most life giving opportunities and delights that I Am about to spread before you.
How to Respond
- Spend time in personal prayer and communion with the Lord. Ask Him to sharpen your ability to hear His voice and recognize His Presence.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Bring Your Presence for communion, for anticipation of good, for a sharper ability to hear what You are saying. Help me to recognize the arrival and resting of Your Presence. Help me to live in a way that makes You always feel welcome.
- Declare, the Lord is moving to bring great opportunities and new life to me and my family.
- Decree,
I am one who hears the voice of the Lord and obeys.
I am one who recognizes the Presence and the pleasure of the Lord.
I will trust the Lord’s guidance in selecting the best things for me — out of the abundance of choices I will be presented.
I will trust His voice, and I will know that I made the best choices.
I will leave behind the good things that the Lord’s pleasure does not rest on.
I will not choose anything that may steal time or energy away from the destiny launching gifts He is presenting.
