Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 11-12

11 Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse,
And a branch from his roots will bear fruit.
2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him,
The spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The spirit of counsel and strength,
The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
3 And He will delight in the fear of the Lord,
And He will not judge by what His eyes see,
Nor make a decision by what His ears hear;
4 But with righteousness He will judge the poor,
And decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth;
And He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,
And with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked.
5 Also righteousness will be the belt about His loins,
And faithfulness the belt about His waist.

Isaiah 11:1-5

The Lord says,
Just as the emergence of a single buttercup can announce the new season, so too will a single emergence, a single revelation announce major change. Just as one newly sprouted buttercup does not stand alone in a field for long, so too will this announcement, this marker not stand alone. She will just be the first of many new changes quickly blooming across the land. The changes will be many, and they will be sprouting undetected until they emerge fully. Soon change, dots of change as far as the eye can see, will blanket the land.

9 They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain,
For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord
As the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 11:9

Just as a buttercup signifies innocence, childhood, freedom and joy, so too will the changes that I Am bringing forth carry these meanings. They will carry these meanings, and they will have the full weight of the law behind them. Changes for innocence, childhood, freedom and joy are coming; and they will have the weighty force of the law behind them. This is about protection, guarding the future, enjoying life and living in freedom.

3 Therefore you will joyously draw water
From the springs of salvation.
4 And in that day you will say,
“Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name.
Make known His deeds among the peoples;
Make them remember that His name is exalted.”
5 Praise the Lord in song, for He has done excellent things;
Let this be known throughout the earth.
6 Cry aloud and shout for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,
For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 12:3-6

This is the harvest of much change — change for the sake of freedom, justice, truth, honor and righteous rule. All of these changes will have deep root systems and will be fiercely protected by honorable ones — appointed and self-appointed — to guard these changes for the good, for the people, for the children, for the future.

6 And the wolf will dwell with the lamb,
And the leopard will lie down with the young goat,
And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little boy will lead them.
7 Also the cow and the bear will graze,
Their young will lie down together,
And the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8 The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra,
And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.

Isaiah 11:6-8

This is a time when skeptics will have a change of heart, when intellectuals will put their arrogance and indoctrination aside and open their arms with childlike faith. Change will indeed blanket the land. This is all change for the good, for innocence, childhood, freedom and joy. This change is bringing the ingredients for a sweet life, uninterrupted and undefiled by evil external forces. This place of change and beauty has no room for evil, darkness, vulgarity and wickedness. Those vile things are forced out by the emergence of these beautiful and glorious changes.

How to Respond

  • Believe that the Lord is moving to bring an extraordinary amount of change, and it is all for our good.
  • Pray for the justices of the Supreme Court who will be issuing opinions this week and all judges — that they bring divinely inspired justice to the cases before them.
  • Pray, Lord thank You for being a God of justice. Thank You for loving justice and desiring it for Your people. Bring us justice Lord, in every sphere of society that so desperately needs it. May justice prevail for the innocent and the wronged. Bring Your perfect justice Lord.
  • Declare, the Lord is moving to bring a great blossoming of change that delivers innocence, childhood, freedom and joy. This change will be backed by the weight of the law, and it will mean justice for the people.
