Today’s Readings:
Habakkuk 1-2
Jeremiah 33
5 “Look among the nations! Observe!
Habakkuk 1:5
Be astonished! Wonder!
Because I am doing something in your days—
You would not believe if you were told.
The Lord says,
The best is yet to come. You’re going to see things in your day that you wouldn’t believe if you were told. Reject fear. Reject anxiety; and walk confidently, filled with joy, hand in hand with Me into the Best Days.
3 ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
Jeremiah 33:3
Ask Me for wisdom, and I will give it. Ask Me for strategies, and I will give them. Your job is obedience and staying in lockstep with Me. Your job is to manage your own mindset and your own heart. You can’t control the swirl around you, but you can delight in My Presence. You can’t control the actions of others, but you can take joy in communion with Me. You can’t pry open blind eyes, but you can partner with Me and watch as I perform miracles for you. The best really is yet to come.
You haven’t seen anything yet. I have just been warming up. The main act on center stage will soon be performed, and it will cause shock and awe and wonder. Some of the responses will be counterintuitive. Where you might expect riots, you will see weeping. Where you might expect protests and angry arguments, you will see clarity and wonder arrive as confusion and blindness flee. The best is yet to come, and it will surprise even you.
14 “For the earth will be filled
Habakkuk 2:14
With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,
As the waters cover the sea.
Watch as My performance sheds light onto many. Watch as My performance causes many to be filled with My light in a sudden moment, in an instant. Those who were bystanders, those who were activists, those who were enemies, those who were embedded — all of these will be filled with My light in an instant. And the tenor of public discourse will change. The atmosphere will change. The goals of the people and the will of the people will rightly align because of Me — My performance, My light, My change.
6 Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.
Jeremiah 33:6
Peace will characterize these newly enlightened ones, these awakened ones, these transformed by My Spirit ones. Though this peace does not look like quiet. It looks like aligned, unified purpose. It looks like respect and honor. It looks like demanding what is right. This peace is not a porcelain figurine on a well-kept shelf. This peace is a a battle axe that charges the gates of hell. This peace is a mace that will give no ground to lies, perversion, corruption and darkness. This peace is surprising. This unity is surprising. This joy will be surprising. And it will usher in the Greatest Days. Yes indeed, the Best Days will usher in the Greatest Days. Just you wait and see.
14 ‘Behold, days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will fulfill the good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
Jeremiah 33:14
I will open new doors that have not even been seen before. I will open doors that have never been opened before. We are walking into days of unlimited possibilities, days of freedom, days of justice, days of unity and days of great strength. The best is yet to come, and even greater things than these will you see.
