Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 60
Psalm 60
Psalm 63

60 “Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
3 “Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.

Isaiah 60:1-3

The Lord says,
This is a time for dancing, for rejoicing, for celebrating and for loving. Live big. Live loudly. Celebrate all that I have done. As you do, you will see My Hand move to accomplish even more. This is a season where celebration, worship and thanksgiving will beget more reasons for the same. They will have a visible causal compound effect.

Live from the overflow of your heart. Let joy radiate from your countenance. Don’t hold back. Don’t live that dry toast life. Live life truly delighted and taking delight, finding delight in many aspects of life, in many blessings — big and small. Live from the overflow of communion, satisfaction and great wonder in Me.

3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
4 So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
5 My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.

Psalm 63:3-5

Choose action. Choose high energy. Choose big ideas, big dreams, big hope, big faith. These are days when dreams and hopes blossom into fully grown possibilities, opportunities and chances. You will be able to pluck them up with your hand and experience them, select them. These are days to live with hearts full of marveling and expectation. The two are a pair because the marveling, the worship, the thanksgiving will beget even more from My Hand. This is a season of compounding miracles, compounding change, and compounding spring. This is a season of many possibilities coming into their time, coming into bloom, many opportunities becoming ripe for the picking and many chances being grasped and run with.

4 You have given a banner to those who fear You,
That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.
5 That Your beloved may be delivered,
Save with Your right hand, and answer us!

Psalm 60:4-5

These are days where freedom begins to unfurl like a mighty, magnificent flag. The shackles that have held her are breaking one by one, and she is emerging. One taste of freedom, one glimpse of freedom will cause many to rise, to celebrate and to demand more. These are the days of compounding freedom, and it will compound until the whole magnificent enormous flag is unfurled and raised high in her position of honor above the nation, above the people, above the government. Freedom is being loosed, and watch as I help the people release her completely. Watch as her beauty and majesty rises and is put on display for all to see, all to know, all to experience.

8 My soul clings to You;
Your right hand upholds me.
9
But those who seek my life to destroy it,
Will go into the depths of the earth.
10 They will be delivered over to the power of the sword;
They will be a prey for foxes.

Psalm 63:8-10

As freedom rises many foes will fall. They will shield their eyes from the brightness, from the blinding effect that freedom has on their dark eyes. They will stumble. They will fall. They will try to crawl away and hide in dark places, but freedom’s bright light and justice’s hammer will find them. They will not escape.

12 Through God we shall do valiantly,
And it is He who will tread down our adversaries.

Psalm 60:12

Freedom will be avenged for her captivity, and so will the people. Justice is coming like a powerful and unrelenting hammer. And the sound of the approach of freedom and justice is terrifying the enemy even now. They know their time is short. Expect many last ditch attempts to save themselves. They will stir up chaos and trouble, but none of these efforts will prevail. The blinding light of freedom will torment them, and the decisive hammer of justice will decree their end.

How to Respond

  • Rejoice. Have fun. Begin to celebrate the victories and gifts the Lord brings into your life —- no matter how small. It’s an acceptable act of worship.
  • Pray, Lord help me to be one who sees Your Hand at work and understands my role in this season. Show me how to live a lifestyle of celebration that invites even more blessing and wonder into my life.
  • Declare, we are in days of the Lord’s timing. These are days where He is fulfilling promises by bringing possibilities, opportunities and chances to His people. I have eyes to see the good gifts that the Lord brings, and I will not hesitate to grasp them as He guides.
  • Decree, the Lord is working with the people to release freedom in the land. Freedom will cause those with the enemy and darkness to fall, and justice will cause them to meet the end of their days in power.
