Today’s Readings:
Isaiah 60
Psalm 103
19 The Lord has established His throne in the heavens,
Psalm 103:19
And His sovereignty rules over all.
The Lord says,
For the ones who have chosen the road less traveled, for the ones who have found themselves accused, for the ones who can’t see the road ahead, for the ones who choose to dance with Me even in the darkness — I have a special grace for you. I Am standing in between you and your accusers, and I look them square in the face with defiance and eyes of fire because of their hollow, worthless arguments; because of the truth; and because you have been made righteous in Christ Jesus. Can you feel My love for you spreading warmth across your chest and your whole body? Do you recognize when My love washes over you? Do you feel the security of My nearness? Whom or what shall you fear? Keep your eyes on Me.
17 But the lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him,
Psalm 103:17-18
And His righteousness to children’s children,
18 To those who keep His covenant
And remember His precepts to do them.
Love with a big unapologetic love. Walk blamelessly and fearlessly before friends and foes alike. Do and say the things I have placed in your heart and just behind your lips. Say them. Speak them. Continually purify yourself. Live a lifestyle of ongoing purity and purification. Don’t let any sin cling to you and remain.
103 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
Psalm 103:1-5
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
3 Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;
4 Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
5 Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
Walk the road less traveled with Me. Hold your head high and don’t apologize for being a child of Mine. Don’t waver or equivocate. Wear your crown and your priestly robes as one who is confident and secure in their position. Wear gentleness, kindness, goodness and grace; and don’t back up. Don’t apologize for Me — for knowing Me, for being Mine or loving Me. Stand up and own it. Stand up, and speak what I have put inside of you to speak.
These are days of intense and increasing warfare. Approach them as a soldier of the Living God. Approach them as a commander with authority who is under My authority and rule. Stand firmly. Be defiantly on the side of truth in the face of attacks and accusations of the enemy. Do not flinch when you hear those accusations. You are covered by My blood. What you have repented for is off limits to the enemy, so rebuke him. This is why you must stay pure and repent quickly. Give the enemy no fodder for accusation. He will throw old and repented for sin in your face. Your job is to shut him down and say, “I am a child of the Living God, covered by the powerful and unmatched blood of Jesus. Your accusations have no target to hit, because He has paid the price. And I am righteous in Him. Do not tread on me.”
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
Psalm 103:11-13
So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 Just as a father has compassion on his children,
So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, and they are not wimpy or weak. They are powerful to slice through the attacks, accusations and plans of the enemy. They are mighty to bring down strongholds and to charge the gates of hell. Some of the weapons of our warfare are praise, thanksgiving, declarations of the Word, the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit. Strengthen yourself in Me, and ask for wisdom to effectively use these weapons in the fight.
60 “Arise, shine; for your light has come,
Isaiah 60:1-3
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth
And deep darkness the peoples;
But the Lord will rise upon you
And His glory will appear upon you.
3 “Nations will come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
You are to shine and to be a bright light in the darkness and in these dark times. Those who are with us are more than those who are against us. And this seemingly bleak darkness should give you hope that the dawn is near.
How to Respond
- Live in great hope. Live in the confidence of your position as a child of the Most High King. Whom or what shall you fear?
- Trust that the Lord is guiding you along this road less traveled, and He will not leave you alone in the wilderness. He is bringing you in to the beautiful land of promise and plenty.
- Declare, I am a child of the Most High King, covered by the powerful and unmatched blood of Jesus. I take my position seriously, and I will not be intimidated. I will not back down from the work He has called me to do or the words He has called me to speak.
- Decree, the enemy is in a losing position. Angel armies and we who are faithful to the Lord are tearing down enemy structures, strongholds and positions of power even now. And they will all crumble with the help of our God.
