Today’s Readings:
Genesis 1-2
Isaiah 2
Psalm 138

5 Come, house of Jacob, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

Isaiah 2:5

The Lord says,
Adoration is the way to My throne. Delighting yourself in Me ignites a spark and brings great clarity and light. Your delight in Me, Your desire for Me, your hungering and thirsting for Me is what I use to strike my match of illumination with. Desire is a great surface to strike My revelation against. Desire for Me, for understanding My ways, My heart, My Kingdom is the basis upon which I illuminate your spiritual eyes and bring vision, revelation and understanding. Desire is the needed component on your side — accompanied with pursuit, persistence and the genuine adoration of a lover.

Marvel in my ways, and I will show you more. Be awestruck and curious about My kindness, and I will reveal more. The key to revelation, to understanding, to illumination is desire. And desire is a natural extension of adoration.

138 I will give You thanks with all my heart;
I will sing praises to You before the gods.
2 I will bow down toward Your holy temple
And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.
3 On the day I called, You answered me;
You made me bold with strength in my soul.

Psalm 138:1-3

Celebrating My goodness, celebrating My victories, celebrating what is right builds power and energy amongst the angelic host to continue warring for victories. This is how celebration stirs the supernatural. This is how celebration — worshipping, dancing and rejoicing in purity about what is right — supplies the angelic host with a boost of energy to take down other strongholds and produce more victory. This is why celebration of what is right is a spiritual discipline and an act of worship. This is why I have been commanding you to celebrate victories big and small. Celebration is activation of the angelic. It’s like a relay baton that they will carry through the fight to the next victory and celebration.

These are days of great, widespread and unceasing celebration. Determine to be one who celebrates life and celebrates the victories I bring.

31 God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. 2 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts. 2 By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

Genesis 1:31-2:3

Do you know what rest does? Rest gives your brain and your body a way to accept new ideas and to see the impossible, to imagine and form the basis for fantastic creative endeavors. What did I do on the 7th day? I rested. This is a picture for you for many reasons. Resting resets your creative flow, and it resets your brain into a creative mode, a possibility mode, a pre-building mode.

The other 6 days you can execute, you can do, you can go; but the day of rest is where the pathways for creativity become super highways. The rest day is an energizing, recharging day from which all of the week’s productivity will flow. The rest is a mental reset and creates an opening for My creative Spirit to flow through you in a way that has much less friction than when you are working. Take the rest. It will fuel and be the creative foundation your other days.

7 Then the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. 8 The Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed.

Genesis 2:7-8

The people have become like animals at a zoo instead of wild and free. Get back in touch with nature. Get outside and get dirty. Play, sweat, run, work. It will remind you of and reconnect you to the freedom I gave you as your birthright. That time outdoors will embolden you and stir up a righteous ferocity inside of you to fight until freedom is released again in the land.

This sterile life indoors is making you weak, pliable and zombie-like. It’s causing you to lose your vigor for life and your ability to see and think clearly. Disconnect and get dirty. See the freedom it releases in your soul.

A note of revelation from the Lord:

The Lord rested on the 7th day, and then from out of that day of rest His most wonderful creation, man, was made. Simply amazing! It’s confirmation of the word and instruction He shared today about keeping a Sabbath.

How to Respond

  • Reconnect with your desire for the Lord. Stir up affection and adoration for Him, and He will reveal to you great and wonderful things that you did not know, as you ask from a place of love and desire.
  • Trust and obey the command of the Lord for rest. Ask Him to show you what His kind of rest looks like, so that you can be re-energized physically and creatively.
  • Declare, my celebration is a weapon and a power source for the angelic to tear down the enemy’s strongholds and destroy his works and plans. Celebration is an acceptable act of worship that causes the destruction of demonic structures and brings more victory.
  • Decree, my celebration and worship is empowering and energizing angels on assignment to destroy the works of evil, demonic strongholds and structures of wickedness. My celebration and worship will empower the next victory, and that celebration will empower the next.
  • Pray, Lord, show me how to position myself and how to see things the way you see them. Help me to prioritize time in communion with You, celebration, rest and spending time outside in Your creation.
