Today’s Readings:
Psalm 112
Isaiah 48
Jeremiah 31

4 Light arises in the darkness for the upright;
He is gracious and compassionate and righteous.

Psalm 112:4

The Lord says,
When My glory comes, when I make My move in your life, in your land, it won’t be hard to tell. It will be unmistakable. My Presence will be undeniable, and all confusion about Me will flee. Watch as I change you forever. Watch as your mind changes in an instance. Watch as your heart changes in a moment. You will be different. You will be new.

Truth will pierce through like a powerful light in utter darkness, and it will illuminate many things. It will reveal what has been hidden. It will reveal what has been concealed, and it will uncover what has been lied about.

6 “You have heard; look at all this.
And you, will you not declare it?
I proclaim to you new things from this time,
Even hidden things which you have not known.

Isaiah 48:6

It’s been very difficult to see in this darkness. It’s been hard to see, to discern, to perceive what is truth and what is fabricated. It’s been hard to tell. But My piercing light of truth will illuminate everything, and all at once you will see. You will know. The truth will expose hidden motives, hidden agendas, hidden payoffs, and dark, dark secrets. It will illuminate people that those on the side of darkness wanted hidden. It will expose dark underground businesses that have long been concealed. It will expose nefarious international ties, allegiances and crime syndicates. My light, My piercing light of truth will light up the swamp — even the darkest remotest, deepest parts of it. Nothing that has been hidden will remain so.

9 “With weeping they will come,
And by supplication I will lead them;
I will make them walk by streams of waters,
On a straight path in which they will not stumble;
For I am a father to Israel,
And Ephraim is My firstborn.”

Jeremiah 31:9

The people’s hearts will grieve and cry out for mercy for their ignorance, for their blindness, for their unwillingness and inability to see what was there in plain sight. Those cries for their own mercy will turn into righteous anger and a mighty roar for justice, for cleansing, for an end to what has been seen, exposed, permitted and committed. The people will desire a swift and decisive end to the crimes and filth and disgusting things they have seen revealed in the swamp. Their cry will be heard and answered, and I will turn their swamp into a flourishing land of promise.

11 For the Lord has ransomed Jacob
And redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he.
12 “They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion,
And they will be radiant over the bounty of the Lord—
Over the grain and the new wine and the oil,
And over the young of the flock and the herd;
And their life will be like a watered garden,
And they will never languish again.

Jeremiah 31:11-12

I will transform the swamp into a secure and well watered garden with pure water, clear air and vibrant, innocent visible life. We are walking into days of great transformation, change, repentance, justice and freedom. We are walking into days of new life, new reality, true freedom and new wide open possibilities.

How to Respond

  • Thank the Lord for His goodness, for His grace and for His promise to expose the darkness.
  • Pray, Jesus, help me to be one who sees, discerns, perceives and receives the truth.
  • Declare, the glory of the Lord is coming to change hearts, to reveal what has been hidden and to transform the future for His people.
  • Decree, all that the enemy has hidden in darkness will be revealed and brought into broad daylight, so that it can be dealt with. Justice, freedom and flourishing new life will follow.
