Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 60
60 Arise, shine, for your light has come,
Isaiah 60:1-3
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth,
and thick darkness the peoples;
but the Lord will arise upon you,
and his glory will be seen upon you.
3 And nations shall come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your rising.
The Lord says,
Resurrection. Glorious new life. A new day unlike any day you have experienced. The early morning faith of a child that the new day will indeed be the most glorious day and then living the day and seeing that come true. Glory days. Like I told Manuel Johnson, we are walking into Glory Days not Gloomy Days. We are walking into days of resurrection, overcoming, overtaking and overthrowing the works of darkness. We are walking into resurrection life, into resurrection reality.
12 For the nation and kingdom
Isaiah 60:12
that will not serve you shall perish;
those nations shall be utterly laid waste.
I Am resurrecting My reality for you to walk, live, eat and breathe in. It has been laying beneath the surface for many people. Instead of resurrection reality they have been living this gray existence, this ho-hum existence, this reality where life is about getting by, where life is about being on the receiving end of trials and tribulations more than it is about pushing back the gates of hell and reigning in the place I have called you. Kings don’t reign from a place of taking what is thrown at them and trying to make the best of it. That is not reigning. Reigning is setting the tone. Reigning is proactive out-loud living. Reigning is standing up against any forces that would come near the kingdom and saying, not on my watch. This is the abundant, glorious, power-filled life of reigning that I Am resurrecting.
15 Whereas you have been forsaken and hated,
Isaiah 60:15-17
with no one passing through,
I will make you majestic forever,
a joy from age to age.
16 You shall suck the milk of nations;
you shall nurse at the breast of kings;
and you shall know that I, the Lord, am your Savior
and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
17 Instead of bronze I will bring gold,
and instead of iron I will bring silver;
instead of wood, bronze,
instead of stones, iron.
I will make your overseers peace
and your taskmasters righteousness.
I Am saying to many spirits of adventure, many warrior spirits, many prophetic spirits, come forth and reign!!! I Am calling them forth from the grave just like I called Lazarus forth. I Am calling them forth to reign in life, to reign in victory, to reign in proactive overcoming, to storm the gates of hell in their territory. These are the days where the good guys, those on My side — the side of right, the side of life, the side of truth, justice and liberty — are the ones who hold the reigns, the keys and the scepters of advancement, opportunity and reigning. They have the authority to bind, to loose and to push back against any encroaching. They raise the flag of victory. They raise the flag of dominion, of occupation and of conquering.
21 Your people shall all be righteous;
Isaiah 60:21-22
they shall possess the land forever,
the branch of my planting, the work of my hands,
that I might be glorified.
22 The least one shall become a clan,
and the smallest one a mighty nation;
I am the Lord;
in its time I will hasten it.
These are My warrior lovers’ days. These are the days of those who reign with Me in the spirit, rising up in the authority I have given them to reign as well on this earth. These are Resurrection Days where My people who are called by My Name rise up in power, in strength, in conviction, cloaked in all that is right, and they reign for My Name’s sake, for the benefit of the people and for the future generations. These are victory, glory, resurrection and reigning days. These are holy days unto Me. These are Glory Days.
How to Respond
- Sit with the Lord, ask. Him to show you any areas of your life where you have been shrinking back instead of living in boldness.
- Pray, Lord show me how to walk in the authority You have given me in Christ Jesus. Show me how to push back the gates of hell in the sphere you have called me to occupy.
- Declare, the Lord is resurrecting Glory Days, Kingdom Reigning Days. He is resurrecting the adventure, warrior and prophetic spirits of His lovers, and He is calling them to come forth. He is calling us forth to victory, to occupying, to reigning and to pushing back the gates of hell.
- Decree, I will come forth in boldness as the Lord calls. I will not shrink back or be intimidated by hell any longer. I will rise up and walk and reign in the authority the Lord has given His sons and daughters. I will be part of a generation who beat back the gates of hell and paved the way for resurrection reigning life in Jesus.
