Today’s Reading:
Song of Solomon 2
3 “Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest,
Song of Solomon 2:3-4
So is my beloved among the young men.
In his shade I took great delight and sat down,
And his fruit was sweet to my taste.
4 “He has brought me to his banquet hall,
And his banner over me is love.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Resurrection. Truth. Light. From dark to light. Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to take away the sins of the world. Worthy is the blood that was shed. Worthy is the body that was beaten and broken for you. Worthy is the Lamb. I Am holy, so therefore be holy. Worthy is My Name. All glory and honor belong to Me. Come into My dome of grace. Come into My sphere of light. Come to the place where My Spirit resides.
Truth. I desire truth in the innermost parts. Therefore, be truthful. Let no false way be found within you. Stir up the joy of My Presence. You don’t have to live this ho-hum life. Fullness of joy is found in My Presence, and pleasures forevermore are at My right hand. Come. Dwell with Me. Stir up the joy of My Presence within you. Watch as My joy brings light to your eyes and and rekindles vision in your heart.
I Am holy, therefore be one with cleans lips and a pure heart. Be one whose heart and hands are pure, and position yourself for fun. Live from that place of joy that comes from dwelling with Me. Live with the anticipation of great fun, of great exploits for My Kingdom.
7 “I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem,
Song of Solomon 2:7
By the gazelles or by the hinds of the field,
That you do not arouse or awaken my love
Until she pleases.”
Resurrection. I’m in the business of resurrection. I bring ones who have been dead inside back to life. I bring others who have been alive but have lost vision, have lost clarity, have lost sight of the path forward, these too I Am bringing back to life. The Awakening is not just for those who do not know Me. I Am reawakening many who do. I Am reawakening them to the zoe abundant life. I Am reawakening the light in their eyes that has been dimmed by the prevailing winds of adversity. I Am reviving those who are parched and fainting, in desperate need of My living water. I’m resurrecting those who have lived for pleasure and fun on the outside but are dried and dead on the inside. And I’m reviving those who are very much alive on the inside but haven’t seen or fathomed fun for a long, long time.
10 “My beloved responded and said to me,
Song of Solomon 2:10-13
‘Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,
And come along.
11 ‘For behold, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone.
12 ‘The flowers have already appeared in the land;
The time has arrived for pruning the vines,
And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.
13 ‘The fig tree has ripened its figs,
And the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance.
Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,
And come along!’”
These are days of resurrections and revivals. Those for whom it seemed like all hope is gone, I Am resurrecting in startling and dramatic fashion. Those who are weary and drained and worn from the desert, from the wilderness, from the dry and barren place, I Am reviving, I Am restoring, and I Am infusing with vibrant vision and a red beating heart that is ready for adventure.
Resurrection and revival. It will be like a sprinkler went off, and rehydrates all that was shrunken, dried and parched. We are leaving this very dry place, this very dry season. We are coming into rain — rains of resurrection, rains of revival, rains of blessing, and rains of My favor. We are coming into the spring rains of refreshing. Weary souls will be revived. The dead inside will rise, and the light of My countenance will bring restoration, life and vibrant hope. The light of My truth, My Word, My Presence will restore vision and will light the path forward for many. These are strange and unfamiliar days that we are entering, but they are marked by My glory, by resurrection power, by revival of the saints and by the sweet new wine poured out by My Spirit. You won’t want to miss a thing. Get in My Presence and refuse to leave. It’s about to get very good.
How to Respond
- Choose revival. Reach out and ask the Lord for the revival of your soul, the refreshing of your heart and mind.
- Determine to live in wonder and expectation about the amazing things the Lord will do in your life and in the ones and the world around you.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Bring Your resurrection power to those who do not know You. Bring Your revival and refreshing to those who are dried out and weary from the wilderness. Bring change. Bring Your light. Bring the rains that usher in a new season of abundant life.
- Declare, the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness therein. He marks the times and seasons. He is awesome and mighty to save. He is raising many dead hearts from the spiritual grave, and He is reviving many faithful weary ones from their time in the wilderness. He is bringing the rain of His refreshing, blessing and change. The light of His countenance will bring life and will illuminate the path they are to take.
- Decree, my loved ones will be among those whom the Lord is resurrecting and reviving. I will experience personal revival in the Lord. I will dance in the spring rain of His blessing, His faithfulness, His glory and His goodness. I will rejoice in the beautiful change He brings.
