Today’s Reading:
Jeremiah 30
3 For behold, days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will restore the fortunes of My people Israel and Judah.’ The Lord says, ‘I will also bring them back to the land that I gave to their forefathers and they shall possess it.’”
Jeremiah 30:3
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Stable geniuses have crowned Me king of their hearts. I Am the ultimate and supreme stable genius, the High King of Heaven, and their crowning Me king of their hearts allows Me much more freedom to move on the board. Free will and opposition to Me does restrict My movements. But unfettered access to hearts, lives and decisions gives Me unlimited moves on the board. The brilliant thing is that this is all stealth. The ones opposing Me have no idea what rules I play by. They play by their own rogue rules, and I know their every move. They know Me not, nor can they fathom My ways. So why do you stress? Why do you fret?
8 ‘It shall come about on that day,’ declares the Lord of hosts, ‘that I will break his yoke from off their neck and will tear off their bonds; and strangers will no longer make them their slaves. 9 But they shall serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.
Jeremiah 30:8-9
This is a very lopsided game, because I have unrestricted access, unlimited moves, and the ones playing for the enemy don’t even know that My moves are unlimited and the hearts of My players are secure. They assume My people are like them — unstable, tossed by the winds and the waves, ones who shrink back at the first sign of adversity or hardship. My players are nothing like them. My joy is their strength. My light and My voice is their guide. Truth is the North Star of their compass, and their hearts are filled with compassion for the children and the people. My players are not like their players. My players are not in it for selfish gain, and My players know how to have fun making fools of mockers. In a way it’s not fair. But truly it is glorious.
23 Behold, the tempest of the Lord!
Jeremiah 30:23-24
Wrath has gone forth,
A sweeping tempest;
It will burst on the head of the wicked.
24 The fierce anger of the Lord will not turn back
Until He has performed and until He has accomplished
The intent of His heart;
In the latter days you will understand this.
Who ever said that the fight against evil was fair? They know no rules, have no bounds and their depravity knows no end. It’s not a fair fight. It never was. We will win. I will win. Right and truth, holiness, justice and freedom will win. Hold your head high. Carry yourself as one on the winning side. Walk like a winner. Talk like a winner. Have the confidence and the assuredness of a winner. We will win.
Nations Spotlight: Brunei
Watch for Brunei in the news. Watch for a tussle and a burst of unrest in Brunei. It has been bubbling under the surface for some time, and it will bubble over. It will be a short lived flare up. Pray for the people. Pray for righteous governance. Declare that righteous governance will prevail in Brunei.
How to Respond
- Stir up thanksgiving and confidence in the Lord
- Pray, Lord thank You that You are the Sovereign One, King of kings and Lord of all. Thank You that though things look bleak, nothing is too difficult for You. The enemy is nowhere near an equal rival or match. He is nothing more than a degenerate fallen angel — one created by Your own hands. He has made nothing on his own. Thank You for Your assurance that You will win, that the side of goodness, justice, truth and freedom will win.
- Declare, the Lord is holy and worthy to be praised. He is King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the High King of Heaven, and nothing and no one can compare to Him. He already has triumphed over evil, and we will see Him triumph over the evil that has overtaken the world. He has moves that the enemy’s side does not see and cannot fathom; and He is playing to win.
- Decree, the Lord and those with Him will win this fight against evil. The enemy and those with him are already losing, and they will lose everything. This is not a fair fight, and it doesn’t need to be. The Sovereign Lord of the universe will win. The enemy will continue his losing streak, and he and those with him will lose in a dramatic and powerful, very public way.
- Declare, righteous governance will prevail in Brunei.
