Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 40

9 Get yourself up on a high mountain,
O Zion, bearer of good news,
Lift up your voice mightily,
O Jerusalem, bearer of good news;
Lift it up, do not fear.
Say to the cities of Judah,
“Here is your God!”
10 Behold, the Lord God will come with might,
With His arm ruling for Him.
Behold, His reward is with Him
And His recompense before Him.

Isaiah 40:9-10

The Spirit of the Lord says,
Triumphant hearts, triumphant spirits. A triumph for the ages. This one will be called a Triumph for the Ages. Victory smashing defeat like this hasn’t been seen in centuries. It is truly one for the ages. The machine will be smashed to bits. Irreparable damage is coming to the machine, and victory will sit atop it in triumph. The political machine, the power machine, the financial machine. It is all one machine, and this machine is already sustaining damage. It is already taking direct hits along with some swings and misses. But the wrecking ball is en route for the machine, and this wrecking ball will take it out completely. It will finish the machine, and it will sit triumphantly on top of the remains of the machine. The wrecking ball is truth.

27 Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel,
“My way is hidden from the Lord,
And the justice due me escapes the notice of my God”?
28 Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is inscrutable.

Isaiah 40:27-28

Truth is an indestructible force, and truth is the weapon, the destructive force that will obliterate the machine. Truth will pound away at this machine until the machine grinds to a final halt. Truth is swinging like a wrecking ball, and though it may take many blows to reach full dismantling, full disabling of the machine, truth does not grow weary. Truth will keep winding back and swinging as many times as it takes. When the machine is dead, the spiritual atmosphere will reflect it. Those dark forces will no longer have agreeing and willing vessels permitting them to operate here.

“Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God.
2 “Speak kindly to Jerusalem;
And call out to her, that her warfare has ended,
That her iniquity has been removed,
That she has received of the Lord’s hand
Double for all her sins.”

Isaiah 40:1-2

It will be like a beautiful spring dawn when the machine can operate no longer. The air will be clearer, the atmosphere lighter, the breeze gentler, the sun brighter. Peace will blanket the land and a sense of ease will kiss the people. It will be like the morning after a war is won. People will wake up for the first day with no shots being fired, nothing to fear, no restrictive war time agenda to keep. They will find themselves free again, and it will be unusual. Unrestricted movement and lack of constraints takes some getting used to. Freedom and ease have been lacking for so long, they are unfamiliar realities; but they are glorious and welcome.

This is when the strength and power of freedom is seen, is resurrected. Truth destroying and killing the machine is the catalyst for freedom’s resurrection, and she will march like a mighty fortress that surrounds the people, and the people will be alert, on guard, armed and at the ready to defend her too.

How to Respond

  • Spend time in worship and prayer for our country. These are our greatest spiritual weapons.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come. Come in power and in truth. Bring truth with such strength and force that it destroys the political, power and financial machine that is withholding freedom from the people. Tell me what I can do to support the cause and the impact of truth.
  • Declare, the Lord is using truth to break down and destroy the political, power and financial machine that is holding the people captive.
  • Decree, truth is destroying and will render the political, power and financial machine inoperable and irreparable. Truth’s total destruction of the machine will catalyze the resurrection of freedom in America and the world. Truth will prevail. Freedom will rise, and we will be free.
