Today’s Reading:
Psalm 30
Ezekiel 37
“Then he broke through and transformed all my wailing into a whirling dance of ecstatic praise! He has torn the veil and lifted from me the sad heaviness of mourning. He wrapped me in the glory-garments of gladness. How could I be silent when it’s time to praise you? Now my heart sings out, bursting with joy— a bliss inside that keeps me singing, “I can never thank you enough!””
Psalms 30:11-12 TPT
The Spirit of the Lord says,
I’m doing a graveyard dance. It’s a dance of victory over death, defeat and the grave. I’m dancing on the graves of broken promises and broken hearts. I’m dancing on the open graves of marriages stretched thin — ones that are almost to the breaking point and those that are even long broken. I’m dancing on the graves of forgotten dreams and childhood heart’s desires. I’m dancing on the open graves of hope deferred and the broken straight and narrow. I’m dancing on broken paths and broken promises. I’m dancing over broken hearts and broken relationships — marriages, friendships, families and businesses. I’m dancing over the graves, the open graves of all of these. I can see the wounds and the stunting that has taken place, and I Am reviving all. I Am restoring all. I Am calling them from death to life. I Am calling them from mourning and grief to dancing and singing. I Am calling them from distress and despair to bear hugs and unity. I’m calling them from meals alone to family picnics filled with sunshine where you are even grateful for the ants because of all that the Lord has done.
37 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 He caused me to pass among them round about, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley; and lo, they were very dry. 3 He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”
Ezekiel 37:1-3
I Am piecing broken lives back together, and I Am reinforcing the strength of their joints. I Am bolstering all of the places that got out of joint, the bones that were broken in half. I Am adding an extra fortification of love, favor and grace around these, so they can move with greater alacrity, flexibility and forgiveness; and they won’t be broken again. This is a time of graveyard dancing, because nothing in this graveyard of broken hopes, dead dreams, dashed promises, long awaited prayers and unfulfilled vision will remain as buried, dead and gone. No hearts here will remain as an open grave for mourning. Instead, I will breathe, and when I ask, “Can these dry bones live?” You will say, “You know Lord.”
4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.’ 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones, ‘Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life. 6 I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the Lord.’” 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 And I looked, and behold, sinews were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them. 9 Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.”’” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
Ezekiel 37:4-10
In Me, these dry bones can live. Partner with Me, and watch all of these dry bones not only live, but run, leap and praise God. Watch these broken pieces become as vibrant as youth, as spunky as teenagers; and watch them run roughshod over the work of the enemy. Watch as these broken pieces are brought back together, and join Me in a great graveyard dance. Defeat, hope deferred, broken promises and broken hearts will not remain in this dead condition. They will come back to life and run roughshod over the enemy. They will be a testament and a testimony to the overcoming, miraculous, wonder working power of the Lord God Almighty and Christ the Redeemer, your Resurrected King. Watch as miracles start to happen. Watch as I piece things back together in your life, restore them and make them better than you could have hoped, dreamed or imagined. Watch as I exceed your wildest imagination and make your dreams come true.
11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you will know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, My people. 14 I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have spoken and done it,” declares the Lord.’”
Ezekiel 37:11-14
This is the season of the graveyard dance, where everything over which I dance comes back to roaring, strong, vibrant life and takes its marching orders to storm the gates of hell. This is part of the commissioning. This is part of the equipping. This is part of the enabling. I can’t have broken hearted soldiers going to storm the gates of hell. That will never do. This graveyard is transformed into my medic tent and soon it will become a place of healing, wholeness and great celebration. Then we will storm the gates of hell — whole, healed, free, united and delivered.
How to Respond
- Honestly and without holding anything back, place before the Lord your broken dreams, your hope that has been deferred, broken relationships, broken promises, any pieces of your heart that are broken and ask Him to dance over them, to revive them, restore them and bring them back to vibrant, fully restored life.
- Pray, Lord take all of the disappointments and broken pieces of my life. Here they are. I ask You to dance over them, to breathe on them, to repair and restore them. Fortify the broken places, and bring them back to life. Only You can. Thank You for caring about my heart, my wholeness, my family, my dreams, my life and my future. You are amazing God. Lord, show me what action I need to take in any of these places to partner with You in the restoration process.
- Declare, the Lord is reviving, repairing, restoring and fortifying all of the places of my life where disappointment, despair, brokenness and defeat have killed or injured dreams, relationships and callings.
- Decree, I am the recipient of a fully restored, fully fortified life — where my dreams do come true, where my relationships do thrive and where my life makes a difference and drives hell far from this place.
- Play the song below on repeat until your heart and mind are in agreement with it.
