Psalm 27
Isaiah 40
4 One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek:
Psalm 27:4
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord
And to meditate in His temple.
The Spirit of the Lord says,
I’m looking for My lovers. I’m looking for the ones whose hearts and eyes burn with an unquenchable fire for Me. I Am looking for ones whose chief desire is to know Me and be known by Me. I’m looking for the unshakeable ones. I’m looking for the truth seekers and the beacons of pure light. They are not like volatile compounds. They will not explode under pressure. They will neither be captured by another, nor will they explode under pressure. They are self-possessed. They cannot be bought. They cannot be moved. Their eyes and their hearts yearn for Me. They burn for Me. And they long to dwell in My house forever.
Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God.
Isaiah 40:1-3
2 “Speak kindly to Jerusalem;
And call out to her, that her warfare has ended,
That her iniquity has been removed,
That she has received of the Lord’s hand
Double for all her sins.”
3 A voice is calling,
“Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness;
Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.
These are My remnant warriors. These are the faithful arising. These are the Calebs, the Joshuas, the Sauls and the Miriams. These are the Esthers, the Deborahs, Baraks and Samsons. These are the ones like David who long to dwell with Me forever. These are like John the Beloved who know Me and are known, who cannot be shaken, bought or moved. These are the great remnant warriors, and like My warriors of old, they will rise up in conviction, in honor and valor; and they will prepare ye the way of the Lord.
They will fight the battles and clear the way for My Kingdom come, My will being done on Earth as it is in Heaven. These forerunners, these warriors, these pioneers are tasked with clearing the way of the Lord. Just as John the Baptist prepared the way, so will these cut down every lie that stands between the people and their ability to see Me. They are cutting down the thickets. They are clearing the path. They are, by following Holy Spirit, marking out a path unseen for a people unknown.
4 “Let every valley be lifted up,
Isaiah 40:4-5
And every mountain and hill be made low;
And let the rough ground become a plain,
And the rugged terrain a broad valley;
5 Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed,
And all flesh will see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
These remnant warrior pioneers are threshing out the way of the Lord. With the guiding of My Spirit, they are making a way where there was no way. They are cutting a path through the forest of lies and the underbrush of shame. They are the ones who have taken up My orders. They have answered My call, and they are preparing the way of the Lord. Above all else guard your heart, for from it flow the wellsprings of life.
How to Respond
- Lay your life as an offering before the Lord. Give Him permission to lead you where He will. Give Him unfettered access to your heart.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Let Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Guide me. Strengthen my spine and my resolve. Help me to not falter or stumble or faint as I join the company of remnant warriors and prepare the way of the Lord through my obedience and delight in You.
- Declare, the Lord is commissioning and has commissioned remnant warriors. He has them strategically placed to mark out paths unseen for people unknown.
- Decree, the Lord God Almighty, Holy Spirit and Christ our King and Risen Savior will prevail. The Lord’s Kingdom has come, is coming and will continue to come and fill the Earth for the rescue of a lost, rudderless and dying generation. The Lord will triumph. He will have His Bride and His Harvest of the Ages. He will change the world as we know it through the hands of His remnant warriors.
