Fresh Joy
The Lord says,
I Am moving in timid hearts. I Am the King of Hearts. Make Me the King of yours. I Am making joy abound. I Am filling hearts with joy that doesn’t match circumstances – it’s a very stark contrast to circumstances. I Am bringing joy and causing joy to well up. It is from this wellspring that hope and action and advancing come. It is this joy that brings fresh life and energy and perspective. It is because of the infusion of this joy that you can run unhindered and with full confidence and conviction into the battle ahead. This joy is bringing new clarity. It is bringing light to your heart and to your situation. It is bringing light to the battle that you are facing, and it is strengthening you. It’s giving you endurance beyond what you thought yourself capable of. It is giving you the follow-through to the end of the battle.
A Wave of Peace for Hearts and Minds
The Lord says,
Where there was once great tumult and chaos in hearts and minds, I Am bringing a great stillness, a great wave of peace, a great calming of the storm inside. This inner calm, this inner peace and stillness allows you to see clearly and discern what is happening in the battle outside of you. It is giving you wisdom into what the true battle is, who the enemy is, and how to advance and defeat him. Don’t keep fighting your internal battle. Allow Me to settle it, to still it. Allow your internal battle to bow to Me, and I will make a way forward for those questions you need answered. Cause these internal battles to be parked, to be still and to be submitted to Me. And go fight the battle I have called you to.
Don’t let the enemy distract you with psychological warfare that keeps you focused on the wrong enemy and wrong or perceived problems and issues. The real battle is for the children, for the unborn, for the oppressed, for the truth, for morality and purity and honesty. The battle is against corruption and greed and perversion and trafficking and the normalization of evil. Battle these things and leave your inner battles and your home life to Me. As you hand them over to Me, you will find freedom. You will find release from the tension in your head and your heart. And this freedom will cause power to surge through your body, and passion to fill you – passion to fight the true enemy, to battle the darkness that has been closing in on this nation.
Freedom from Psychological Warfare
The Lord says,
Justice is on My heart. I Am giving freedom to the captives. Many have been held captive by psychological warfare – stress, anxiety, worries, depression, anger, bitterness, doubt, regret, questioning identity, fear. These captives are the ones I Am setting free. I Am releasing the bonds that hold them, and I Am clearing their minds and their hearts. I Am filling them anew with My Spirit, and I am causing them to run, filled with fresh joy and energy and power into the battle.
The enemy won’t see these coming, because he has held them down and kept them out of the fight for so long. He will certainly be taken off-guard with these fresh warriors who were once broken, beaten and defeated, who once lived on the sidelines. These are the ones who are coming to fight and to win. They are the reinforcements. They are the needed last wave of troops to secure the victory. They will bring the tipping point for victory in the battle. They will be carried on shoulders and hailed as heroes. They will live with extreme humility and great confidence in the Lord. They will see and know and recognize the hand of the Lord’s favor, the freedom that He alone brought that enabled them to join their brothers and sisters in arms and contend for the victory.
With this fresh wave of new troops, I will catapult you to victory.
How to Respond
- If you are one of these who has been under attack, who has been experiencing psychological warfare from the enemy – through depression, fatigue, anxiety, fear, identity issues, doubt, etc – there is grace from the Lord today for you to walk in freedom. Tell the Lord that you want to park those issues. That you bring them to His feet and cause them to submit to the Name of Jesus. Ask Him for signs of freedom. Ask Him to help you hold on to freedom and not revert back to mental captivity.
- Pray for those in your life who have been battling emotional, mental and psychological warfare. Prophesy life and freedom over them in the Name of Jesus. Break the spirit of captivity and torture that the enemy is using against them. Release full freedom, joy and healing in the Name of Jesus.
- Ask the Lord what your role in the external battlefield is – prayer, intercession, prophesy, declarations, running for school board, sharing the truth with your friends… It can look like many things.
- Worship. Live in joy. If you are low, ask the Lord to refill your tank with joy. Thankfulness and counting your blessings is a great way to strengthen yourself in the Lord and boost your tank of joy.
- Remember our active duty military, veterans, and especially those who paid the ultimate price for America and our freedom today. Find a simple way to honor these warriors and heroes today.
