Isaiah 10
Isaiah 14
20 Now in that day the remnant of Israel, and those of the house of Jacob who have escaped, will never again rely on the one who struck them, but will truly rely on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.
Isaiah 10:20-25
21 A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.
22 For though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea,
Only a remnant within them will return;
A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.
23 For a complete destruction, one that is decreed, the Lord [r]God of hosts will execute in the midst of the whole land.
24 Therefore thus says the Lord [s]God of hosts, “O My people who dwell in Zion, do not fear the Assyrian [t]who strikes you with the rod and lifts up his staff against you, the way Egypt did. 25 For in a very little while My indignation against you will be spent and My anger will be directed to their destruction.”
The Spirit of the Lord says,
Trusted plans are coming together. My love is breaking forth. My love is routing the plans of the enemy. My love is acting as a great shield, and My love is rising up not only to deflect but to turn the enemy’s plans right back around on him. It is boomerang time. This is not one boomerang. This is like plot after plot, plan after plan, scheme after scheme will hit the wall, the shield of My love, and each one in turn will reverse course and be damning to the sender. Evil plots will come back on evil people. One by one. Many in succession. As their desperation grows so will the number of plans and careless, fear- filled attacks they make. They will each and every one reverse course and lead to their own demise.
26 The Lord of hosts will arouse a scourge against him like the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb; and His staff will be over the sea and He will lift it up the way He did in Egypt. 27 So it will be in that day, that [u]his burden will be removed from your shoulders and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be broken because of fatness.33 Behold, the Lord, the [x]God of hosts, will lop off the boughs with a terrible crash;
Isaiah 10:26-27, 33-34
Those also who are tall in stature will be cut down
And those who are lofty will be abased.
34 He will cut down the thickets of the forest with an iron axe,
And Lebanon will fall [y]by the Mighty One.
It’s boomerang time. Get your hopes up. Get your joy up. Get your anticipation up. This is like Game Day when the underdog team knows they have been vastly underestimated. Rise up with the heart of a champion. Rise up with the heart of a victorious warrior. Rise up in great expectation of victory. You will see many wicked ones mowed down by their own word curses, mowed down by their own lies, mowed down by complicit action in conspiracy built on lies. Wrongful arrests and lawsuits that they have initiated and pursued will mow them down. Wicked behavior, self-serving acts, and murderous plots will come back directly to the senders.
22 “I will rise up against them,” declares the Lord of hosts, “and will cut off from Babylon name and survivors, offspring and posterity,” declares the Lord. 23 “I will also make it a possession for the hedgehog and swamps of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” declares the Lord of hosts.
Isaiah 14:22-27
24 The Lord of hosts has sworn saying, “Surely, just as I have intended so it has happened, and just as I have planned so it will stand, 25 to break Assyria in My land, and I will trample him on My mountains. Then his yoke will be removed from them and his burden removed from their shoulder. 26 This is the plan [m]devised against the whole earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out against all the nations.27 For the Lord of hosts has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched-out hand, who can turn it back?”
One by one the plot, the attack, the trap of their own making will reverse course and mow them down. It will be as if the boomerang they sent out came back and took them out at the neck. Their authority and their voice will be ended by the plot of their own making. You will see it, and it will be a sight to behold. Karma they may say, but My lovers will know that it was the hand of the Living God. They will know that what the wicked have sown they are now reaping. They will know that this is the harvest the wicked have sown.
As they cry for help, the people will say, “it is what it is. Who am I to stand in the way of your judgement day?” The fear of the Lord will not permit any to interfere in the judgement that these wicked ones have sown and are now reaping, and at that time a chapter will close.
How to Respond
- Choose life. Choose joy. Choose a great expectation for a turnaround by the hand of the Living God.
- Pray, Lord, thank You for Your system of planting and harvesting, sowing and reaping. Thank You that You see all and nothing is missed. Thank You for Your plan to bring the plans of the wicked right back on them with such power that it leads to their defeat. Thank You that Your justice is coming and that those who have mercilessly attacked the innocent will not go unpunished. Bring Your destruction of evil overflowing with righteousness Lord. Thank You.
- Declare, the Lord will cause the wicked plots of unrepentant evil men and women to be their own demise. This is a time of Haman’s gallows coming for Haman’s neck.
- Decree, the Lord’s justice is perfect. The righteous will be exonerated. The innocent will get their recompense from the hand of the Lord, and the wicked ones who have pursued evil and have caused many innocent ones to suffer will be mowed down by the very wicked plots made by their own words and deeds.
