John 4
“Jesus walked throughout the region with the joyful message of God’s kingdom realm. He taught in their meeting houses, and wherever he went he demonstrated God’s power by healing every kind of disease and illness. When he saw the vast crowds of people, Jesus’ heart was deeply moved with compassion, because they seemed weary and helpless, like wandering sheep without a shepherd. He turned to his disciples and said, “The harvest is huge and ripe! But there are not enough harvesters to bring it all in. As you go, plead with the Owner of the Harvest to thrust out many more reapers to harvest his grain!””

The Spirit of the Lord says,
My grace is sufficient for you. My power is made perfect in your weakness. The fertile soil of hearts has been tilled. Planting has been done. I have provided the watering, the rain Myself, and now it’s time for the harvest. This is a time of a harvest of hearts. The fields are ripe for the harvest. It’s time for the evangelists to arise. The pastors and priests cannot do this alone. It’s time for the evangelists to arise and go out to the harvest field. You have the grace, the anointing and the equipping to bring many, many, many who are ripe into the Kingdom.
“As the crowds emerged from the village, Jesus said to his disciples, “Why would you say, ‘The harvest is another four months away’? Look at all the people coming—now is harvest time! Their hearts are like vast fields of ripened grain—ready for a harvest. Everyone who reaps these souls for eternal life will receive a reward. Both those who plant spiritual seeds and those who reap the spiritual harvest will celebrate together with great joy! And this confirms the saying, ‘One sows the seed and another reaps the harvest.’”
John 4:35-37 TPT
This is not a time for hesitant evangelism or hesitant evangelists. This is a time to be loud, unapologetic, unequivocal and bold. Go out and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. Go out and bring in large, vast swaths of the harvest. Evangelists go out. This is your time. This is your season. This is your assignment. I have given you eyes to see the white harvest fields. I have given you eyes to see the many fertile broken hearts. It is time to bring them in. It is time it them loose from all that has held them back from the Kingdom. This is a season where power and authority will be wielded, and it will have a demonstrable, undeniable impact on people’s lives and on society at large. This is a call to the evangelists. Go out to the highways and byways. Answer the call that I have placed in your heart. Make the vision plain. Write it down, send it out for support and make it happen. Actualize the vision I have written on the tablets of your heart. This is a blueprint for now — not tomorrow, not some time in the distant future. This is the blueprint for now.
“I have sent you out to harvest a field that you haven’t planted, where many others have labored long and hard before you. And now you are privileged to profit from their labors and reap the harvest.””
John 4:38 TPT
Evangelists be mobilized! This is a call of activation, motivation and direct instruction to the evangelists. Take the vision I have written on your heart, and bring it to life. The harvest is yours for the picking. This is not a meager harvest. This is the harvest of the ages. The fields are white as far as the eye can see and beyond. Get out there, and get to work evangelists. Don’t shoot from the hip. Shoot from the heart. Use the vision I have given you. Speak it. Actualize it, and they will come.
How to Respond
- If the Lord has given you vision for reaching the lost, now is your time to get moving and actualize the vision and assignment He has given you. The waiting is over.
- Pray, Holy Spirit come. Hover over the people. Continue to draw their hearts to You. We pray for the evangelists to arise and do all that You have put in their hearts to do. We call forth angels to go out and help with this great harvest of the ages. This is a great birthing season where the evangelists are the midwives who are bringing forth new life in a very crowded waiting room of expectancy. Lord, supply the evangelists. Equip them with all they need, and get them into position to bring forth this great harvest into the Kingdom of God.
- Declare, the harvest is here. The evangelists are arising and answering the call, working and actualizing the vision that the Lord has placed in their hearts. The evangelists are being sent out into the fields now to start bringing in the great harvest.
- Decree, I will go where the Lord has called me to go and do what He has placed as a burning vision in my heart. I will support evangelists, and I will pray for and call forth the great harvest. I will not hesitate to share the Good News of the Kingdom of God with those the Lord places in my path.
