Today’s Reading:
Isaiah 28-29
14 Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, O scoffers,
Isaiah 28:14-19 NASB 1995
Who rule this people who are in Jerusalem,
15 Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death,
And with [k]Sheol we have made a [l]pact.
The overwhelming [m]scourge will not reach us when it passes by,
For we have made falsehood our refuge and we have concealed ourselves with deception.”
16 Therefore thus says the Lord [n]God,
“Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone,
A costly cornerstone for the foundation, [o]firmly placed.
He who believes in it will not be [p]disturbed.
17 “I will make justice the measuring line
And righteousness the level;
Then hail will sweep away the refuge of lies
And the waters will overflow the secret place.
18 “Your covenant with death will be [q]canceled,
And your pact with Sheol will not stand;
When the overwhelming scourge passes through,
Then you become its trampling place.
19 “As often as it passes through, it will [r]seize you;
For morning after morning it will pass through, anytime during the day or night,
And it will be [s]sheer terror to understand [t]what it means.”
The Spirit of the Living God says,
This is a season of multiplication, not division. I Am multiplying the outcome of your efforts. I have put multiplication in the hearts of many, and this is a year that those seeds sprout. You will see spiritual multiplication. You will see natural multiplication, and you will see supernatural multiplication. You will see multiplication of provision. You will see hearts overflowing with The Spirit, with love and power. It will rise up and spill forth in response to darkness. The enemy has never understood that love and faith multiply in darkness. He has never grasped that the cover of great darkness squeezes out perseverance and faith. It births many prophets, and it causes a groundswell of believers to rise up in deep faith, in deep connection to Me — to stem the tide of darkness, to repel the enemy at the gate and to do great damage, destruction and bring irreparable harm to the movement and the cause of darkness.
5 In that day the Lord of hosts will become a beautiful crown
Isaiah 28:5-6 NASB 1995
And a glorious diadem to the remnant of His people;
6 A spirit of justice for him who sits in judgment,
A strength to those who repel the [g]onslaught at the gate.
This is a time that those with a bright light are rising. This is a time where believers who have been steeped in My Word, who have been forged in the refiner’s fire, who have been long wearing the armor for spiritual battles are rising in unity, are rising in faith, in one mind and one spirit to dismantle, push back and destroy the works of darkness. They will not be satisfied to push back a few inches or a few feet. They have the lions’ hearts needed to drive this darkness far beyond the reaches of the camp, far, far outside to the outer reaches of the barren wilderness, out of the reach the people whose eyes and hearts are vulnerable and weak, whose minds do not have foundations built on the rock but instead on shifting sand.
17 Is it not yet just a little while
Isaiah 29:18-24 NASB 1995
[bb]Before Lebanon will be turned into a fertile field,
And the fertile field will be considered as a forest?
18 On that day the deaf will hear words of a book,
And out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see.
19 The afflicted also will increase their gladness in the Lord,
And the needy of mankind will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
20 For the ruthless will come to an end and the scorner will be finished,
Indeed all who [bc]are intent on doing evil will be cut off;
21 Who [bd]cause a person to be indicted by a word,
And ensnare him who adjudicates at the gate,
And [be]defraud the one in the right with [bf]meaningless arguments.
22 Therefore thus says the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall not now be ashamed, nor shall his face now turn pale;
23 But when [bg]he sees his children, the work of My hands, in his midst,
They will sanctify My name;
Indeed, they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob
And will stand in awe of the God of Israel.
24 “Those who err in [bh]mind will know [bi]the truth,
And those who [bj]criticize will [bk]accept instruction.
This is a time when My people, My warriors who are called by My Name rise up in a fierce intensity never seen before. They will repel the onslaught at the gate. They will establish the boundary lines, and they will guard them with fierce diligence. This is the time for warriors. The warriors are rising and many have arisen in power and in light. And to these warriors I have given the seeds which are budding just now for them to multiply. These are not lone wolf warriors any longer. I Am joining them to other battle-tested fierce warriors, and they will greatly multiply. This is a season of multiplication mushrooming at a rate, at a speed, at a volume — with a density and intensity — that no one could have imagined. Don’t expect small multiplication. Small multiplication is but a sign and a promise of what is yet to come. Tremendous increase, tremendous, staggering increase through multiplication will come.
How to Respond
- Draw near to the Lord.
- Pray, Holy Spirit guide me. Help me to examine myself and my readiness to rise, to shine, to war and to multiply. I don’t only want to be ready. I want to be actively doing the work You have called me to do. I want to be part of the rising force of warriors who repel the enemy at the gate and push them back so far that no one for many, many, many generations sees or hears from them again. I want to be one who is building and multiplying the light-filled force to stand against darkness.
- Declare, this is a season of multiplication, not division. Many warriors have already risen and many are rising and shining now. We will see and be part of the great offensive attack that expels the enemy from within our ranks, pushes back the enemy at the gate and drives them out to places far, far out of the reach of the people. We will be those who fiercely guard the boundary lines of the camp. We will be part of the company that destroys the works and plans of darkness and rebuilds from the ancient foundations.
- Decree, I am a light-filled warrior. I have arisen and am standing at my post, busy about my Father’s business. I will see a great rising unity of warrior-lovers of God who are divinely brought together and who are anointed for warring, for faith and for tremendous multiplication. I will be part of the company of lion-hearted warriors who drive the enemy out to the far reaches of the Earth and destroys every stronghold and construct left behind. I will see a glorious season of unprecedented multiplication — spiritual, natural and supernatural take off, break records and become the astounding new normal.
