John 15
‘For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.’

The Spirit of the Living God says,
Is My love the most real thing in your life? Is it? Does reality change based on a feeling? Does truth change based on a feeling? Does the standard change depending on what angle you look at it? They remain the same. So do I. I remain the same. My love never changes. My love is farther, deeper, wider and nearer than you could ever imagine. I Am love. I Am here being love whether you take the time to feel it or not. Whether you take the time to sit up and notice it or not, I Am still right here being love, as love, releasing and extending My love to you.

John 15:14 TPT
Trust Me to lead you. This is the time to walk by faith and not by sight. This is the time to walk closely in My tracks. Follow Me will take on a deeper more personal meaning than it has before. The follow Mes before now have led you to Me. Be content to sit in My Presence. Be content to dwell with Me, to wait on Me. The follow Me you have known has gotten you here. This is a follow Me of deeper communion, of deeper loyalty, of patient waiting, of resting in My Presence. This follow Me is not all about moving forward and going in the physical. This follow Me is about drawing nearer, deeper, stiller, quieter into My Presence, into My love, in the place where My glory dwells. This too is not based on a feeling. It’s based on a discipline and a desire.
3 The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you. 4 So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine.
John 15:3-4 TPT
Draw near to Me, and I will draw near to you. My heart and My love are ever extending in your direction. Walk My way. Come and sit with Me. It’s My delight to be with you. As you dwell with Me, as you prioritize time with Me, as you commune with ME and sit in My Presence, you may not perceive it but I Am taking you somewhere new. This is part of moving forward in Me. It may not seem like physical advancement, but it will amount to physical advancement. This is the mystery of the Spirit. It moves and advances in ways unperceivable and unfathomable.
‘“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless. If a person is separated from me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned. But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!’
John 15:5-8 TPT
Don’t think that time in My Presence is time you are not advancing. Don’t you know that you can move at ten times the speed in the Spirit than you can in the natural? Come here. Make advances here. You will see them manifest as you put your hand back to the work I’ve called you to do. Come make advances in the Spirit that cannot be achieved in the workplace but show up there and bless you and delight you there. The advances are made here. Your part is both here and there, but this is a time where the leaps I have appointed for you will be made in the Spirit and will manifest in your continued discipline and obedience in the work I’ve called you to do. It is counter-intuitive. But so are many ways of My Kingdom. My ways are higher than your ways, and My thoughts are higher than your thoughts. Don’t delay. Don’t put off the time to come and dwell with Me, to come and sit in My Presence where My glory radiates and releases fresh energy and impartation. This is the place of advancement. It’s where My glory dwells.
How to Respond
- Choose to draw nearer to the Lord. Prioritize time in His Presence, and carve out more time than usual to be with Him.
- Pray, Lord Your ways are a mystery to me. Thank You that You love to delight me, You love to be with me, and all I need can be found and fulfilled in Your Presence. Help me to draw near to You. Help me to find and make the time to commune with You, to minister to You and to rest in You. Thank You that You have made a way to great advancement in the natural that doesn’t make sense to those who don’t know You but brings a multiplicative blessing to those who seek You, spend time with You and love to dwell in Your Presence.
- Declare, better is one day in Your courts than thousands elsewhere. One thing I desire above all else — I want the privilege of living with the Lord every moment in His house, finding the sweet loveliness of His face, filled with awe, delighting in His glory and grace. I want to live my life so close to Him that He takes pleasure in my every prayer. (Psalm 27)
- Decree, I will seek the Lord. I will be found dwelling in His Presence, gazing on His beauty. I will be one whose highest aim is to seek the Lord daily, to dwell in His Presence continually and to learn directly from Him about His heart, His plans and His ways. I will see great advancements in my life and in the world around me as I prioritize time in the Presence of the Lord.
