Today’s Reading:
Psalm 37
‘Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most.’
Psalms 37:3-4 TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
My grace unfurls to be the path in front of you. Wherever you go, wherever I lead you, My grace is leading the way. It arrives in the moment before you do. You can’t outrun My grace if you are going on the path I’ve set before you. My grace partners with My Spirit as I say, this is the way, walk in it. Don’t fear the future. Don’t fear your next step or what days are yet to come. Keep your heart and your gaze set on Me. Keep your feet walking in the way that I have set your path, and you can live in confidence that I Am with you. My Spirit lives inside of you and rests upon you. My great grace is going before you, leading you on, making a way where there was no way. I Am the waymaker, and it is my grace that paves the path before you.

Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust him along the way, you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly! He will appear as your righteousness, as sure as the dawning of a new day. He will manifest as your justice, as sure and strong as the noonday sun.’

You will stop and marvel and say, “what a great and mighty, unpredictable, hilariously awesome God I serve. He astounds me every day. He takes My breath away every day with His goodness, His intimate knowledge of Me, with the way He chooses to delight Me and the way He puts my feet on an unpredictable path that shows me time and time again that He never lets me down. His plan for me has been perfect all along. As I partner with Him and agree with Him, the road of unexpected but beautiful life unfurls faithfully out in front of me. He is so faithful. He hasn’t left me yet.”

Psalms 37:23 TPT
This is what partnership looks like. This is what yielding to the move and direction of My Spirit and grace looks like. This is what letting go and releasing your tight grip of control looks like. I am the potter. You are the clay. Yield, submit, and you will see the beautiful, very specific purpose for which I have made you and into which I Am shaping you. This is the beautiful process of yielding. This is the beautiful process of letting go, of submission and sanctification. The instruction is simple. Let your eyes and your heart be laser-focused on Me. Set your face on the beauty of Me and My ways. And say yes quickly and fully to My instruction. Partner with Me. Daydream with Me. Walk forward with Me. This is life in the Spirit.
How to Respond
- Pray, Lord, help me to keep my eyes and heart laser-focused on You. Help me to stop being preoccupied with things that take my eyes off of You. I want to be in the place of ever-yielding, ever-submitting to Your faithful hands and voice. Your ways and thoughts are higher than mine. When I’m in the center of Your will, I’m in the safest place I could be.
- Declare, great is the Lord and worthy of all glory, honor and praise. His ways and thoughts are unsearchable. His plans and timing are perfect. None can compare to Him. None can even come close to Him.
- Decree, I will live with my eyes and heart laser-focused on the Lord. I will draw near to Him, and submit to His instruction. As I spend time in His Presence and love following His ways, I will become more and more like Him. As I submit to the Lord, I will see more clearly what He’s shaping me to be for His purposes — for such a time as this. His grace goes before me and will continue to pave the path in front of me. I will continue to advance in obedience as the Lord tells me where and when to move. I will be one who lives life in the Spirit.
