Song of Songs 2
John 15

”The one I love calls to me: Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me! I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one. The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth.“

Song of Songs‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God of Grace says,
My grace is pouring down like a waterfall. My mercy awakens you with a kiss. These are My gifts to you — gifts that bring advancement and freedom, gifts that latch on to your heart’s cry, and say, “come on, let’s go. Let’s do it. Let’s reach it. Let’s climb it. Let’s achieve it. Let’s set the captives free.” My Word is your message. Keep it in your mouth. Let My words ever be on your lips. Let them flow out of you, pour continually out of you as if from a gushing fountain or a babbling brook. Trust Me to guide you. Trust Me to lead you forward. Trust My tugging on your heart. The new day is dawning. You can see it rising now. Leave the past behind. It served you there. It will not serve you here. Start afresh with Me. Walk forward with Me.

”Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me. For you are my dove, hidden in the split-open rock. It was I who took you and hid you up high in the secret stairway of the sky. Let me see your radiant face and hear your sweet voice. How beautiful your eyes of worship and lovely your voice in prayer. You must catch the troubling foxes, those sly little foxes that hinder our relationship. For they raid our budding vineyard of love to ruin what I’ve planted within you. Will you catch them and remove them for me? We will do it together.“

Song of Songs‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬-‭15‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Be enraptured with Me. Be so caught up in my love, in the wonder and amazement of Me that I Am more captivating than the news cycle, that I Am more worthy of your time than your phone. The weight of these new days will require much from you. It will be wise to spend more time in My Presence. It will be fruitful for you to carve out more time for Me, with Me each day. You are the sheep of My pasture. I will not lead you astray. It will be hard to see through the fog of war if you haven’t spent the time with Me, if you haven’t been tuning in to the frequencies of My heart. If you haven’t re-focused and re-centered your attention on Me, it will be very easy to be swept up in every new narrative, to get distracted by the drama and the swirl. But My message remains the same — keep your eyes on Me in the storm. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Entwine yourself as one with Me, and I will get you safely to shore. I will not only get you there safely, but we will arrive victorious to the Eastern shore. We will once again have sound footing, and the shaking will subside. The sun will shine brighter, and there will be peace in the land.

”“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless. If a person is separated from me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned. But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!“

John‬ ‭15‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

In the meantime, stand anchored on Christ your Solid Rock and King. Keep your eyes fixed on Mine, and allow yourself to stay honed-in to the frequencies of My heart, the sound of My voice, My distinct tugging on your heart. I Am awakening the new day, and we will traverse the storm together to get to that Eastern shore. Remain in me.

How to Respond

  • Trust the Lord and pursue Him with intention.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit I need You to help me leave the past behind. I need Your help to get rid of habits that are not useful in this stormy wartime season. Help me to carve out more time with You. Help me to get creative in finding ways to connect with You even during the workday. I need to hear Your voice and be in Your Presence. I want Your Presence to be greater, more apparent and more amazing to me than the storm that surrounds me.
  • Declare, ”Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face—even Jacob.“ — Psalms 24:3-6 NASB1995
  • Decree, I will keep my feet anchored and my eyes fixed on My Savior Jesus. I will not be distracted or dismayed by what I see. I will hide myself in the Lord my God. I will live in quick and full obedience to Him. When the storm and the shaking subsides, I will be one who can say the Lord brought me safely and victoriously to the Eastern shore. This is a glorious, beautiful, peace-filled new day.
