Hebrews 4
”For those of us who believe, faith activates the promise and we experience the realm of confident rest!“
Hebrews 4:3a TPT
The Spirit of the Living God says,
My Word is eternal, and My fountain never runs dry. My supply never runs out. I Am faithful to the end of the ages, and even after that I remain faithful. You can count on Me. You can trust in Me. I Am who I say I Am, and I Am doing and will do the things I said I would do. Trust in Me. Count on Me. Hang your hat on My Word. It is true. I never lie, never leave, never fail. All of My promises are true.
”As we enter into God’s faith-rest life we cease from our own works, just as God celebrates his finished works and rests in them. So then we must be eager to experience this faith-rest life, so that no one falls short by following the same pattern of doubt and unbelief. For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, like a two-mouthed sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts. There is not one person who can hide their thoughts from God, for nothing that we do remains a secret, and nothing created is concealed, but everything is exposed and defenseless before his eyes, to whom we must render an account.“
Hebrews 4:10-13 TPT
Don’t forfeit your birthright. Don’t cede that which I have set aside and determined for you. Live by faith. Believe in faith. Stir up that great expectation of good. I Am with you, I Am for you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. You will see that day — the day of redemption. If you hold onto truth, truth will hold onto you. Cling to My Word. Remain faithful to My Word. I never fail. I never lose My grip on any of My sheep. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Trust in Me. Count on Me. Live in absolute dependence upon Me. I won’t hang you out to dry. I’ve never failed or left you yet. The truth is upon you, and the truth is being revealed in greater measure every day. The truth is a mighty weapon for redemption, for rescusitation, for awakening hearts to life. The truth is as a sword. It divides. It provides definition and provokes a decision — Will you trust? Will you believe? Choose a side.
”So then, we must cling in faith to all we know to be true. For we have a magnificent King-Priest, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who rose into the heavenly realm for us, and now sympathizes with us in our frailty. He understands humanity, for as a man, our magnificent King-Priest was tempted in every way just as we are, and conquered sin. So now we draw near freely and boldly to where grace is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.“
Hebrews 4:14-16 TPT
The truth always wins. The truth reigns in victory forever. My standard is truth. I Am eternal, and the truth reigns and will reign forever. In these uncertain times, in these shaky days, cling to truth. Cling to My Word. Let My Word ever be on your lips. Fill your heart with My promises, and refuse to be shaken. Mine is a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. In Me there is no shifting shadow. There’s only truth, a vast, deep, unending fountain of truth that brings life, freedom, joy, peace and salvation. Come now to the fount of every blessing, and drink your fill. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. And lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the age.
How to Respond
- Trust the Lord and fill yourself with His Word, so you will not be shaken or drawn off course.
- Pray, Holy Spirit thank You that You lead me to all truth. Thank You that Your supply never runs dry. Help me to look to You and not to all that is happening in the world. Help me to stay steeped in Your Word, so that I am filled with truth and can discern truth more accurately.
- Declare, the Kingdom of the Lord my God is a Kingdom that cannot be shaken.
- Decree, I will hide myself in the Lord. I will remain in truth. I will seek truth, and I will fill myself up with the truth of the Word of the Living God, the Author of all truth. I will not be shaken.
