Today’s Reading:
Proverbs 13
Isaiah 32
Isaiah 61

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But desire fulfilled is a tree of life.

Proverbs‬ ‭13‬:‭12‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

The Spirit of the Living God of Unending, Unconditional Love says,
I’m digging those stumps up from the ground that have been the markings of discouragement, heartbreak, sorrow and despair — that which the enemy cut off, that which never made it to fruition, that which has made your heart sick and has been buried because it was cut off. I Am digging those stumps up. I Am breathing My Ruach breath of life of them, on each individual one, and I will make them into mature trees of life seemingly overnight. What would have taken years to recover, what would have taken months or years to build, I will cause to spring up into a place of maturity, some youthful maturity, but a definite maturity overnight.

The desolation will not end until the Spirit is poured out upon us from heaven! Then the wilderness will blossom into a fruitful orchard and the trees of the orchard will grow into a forest! Then justice will reside in the wilderness and righteousness will dwell in the fruitful orchard.

Isaiah‬ ‭32‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

I’m speaking of those matters that have weighed heavily on your heart, those desires and longings and yearnings that have even become so painful you have come close to setting them aside completely, or you already have set them aside and tried to look forward for another way, another dream, another day. Your sorrow has weighed heavily on My heart. Your downcast eyes, your tears and your sad countenance have not gone unnoticed by the Lord of Hosts. I Am breathing. I Am causing the breath of life and the fresh wind of My Spirit to blow on those places that seem to have been prematurely cut off, that seem to have been cut off before they could even take root. I will breathe on them, and you will notice and in your heart you already know — they had taken root, because those roots go down deep into your heart. It’s the flourishing and fulfillment and the fruit that is missing. The root of these matters have gone down deep.

I am sent to announce a new season of Yahweh’s grace and a time of God’s recompense on his enemies, to comfort all who are in sorrow, to strengthen those crushed by despair who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful bouquet in the place of ashes, the oil of bliss instead of tears, and the mantle of joyous praise instead of the spirit of heaviness. Because of this, they will be known as Mighty Oaks of Righteousness, planted by Yahweh as a living display of his glory. They will restore ruins from long ago and rebuild what was long devastated. They will renew ruined cities and desolations of past generations.

Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭2‬-‭4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Trust in Me. Obey Me. I will speak. I will say a word, and joy and unexpected fresh hope will rise up in your spirit. You will know it was from Me, and you will know that I Am indeed doing what I said I would do. I’m breathing your heart, those dead, hurting and sorrow-filled places of your heart back to life. And I will cause those stumps, those places that have seen the sharp pain of being cut down, being cut short — I Am resurfacing those stumps of unfulfilled dreams, hopes, desires, purposes, and I will make them into a fruitful orchard of life. What looked hopeless will become desires fulfilled, and they will spring forth seemingly overnight as trees of vibrant, energetic, unexpected life. Allow me to resurface those stumps, so My breath of life, My wind of the Spirit brings the change, the fulfillment that has been lacking.

How to Respond

  • Sit with the Lord, and allow Him to resurface those places that seem to be dreams and desires that got cut off or never grew to maturity.
  • Pray, Holy Spirit come and breathe on me. Breathe Your beautiful breath of life on my broken dreams, on my disappointments, on those desires that have gotten cut off and have never been fulfilled. Cause the Wind of Your Spirit to blow over them, and bring them into flourishing life. Cause unexpected joy to bubble in my spirit. Help me to hear the sound of Your voice encouraging me. Lord, thank You for caring about and attending to every detail of my life.
  • Declare, the Lord is breathing hearts to life. The Lord is causing hope deferred to become trees of life, seemingly overnight.
  • Decree, I will allow the Lord to resurface those matters that have been disappointments, heartbreak and hope deferred in my life. I will watch in amazement and wonder as He breathes them into glorious, beautiful, vibrant, energetic life in a matter of moments. What would have taken years or months or weeks will happen seemingly overnight. When I look out over my life, I will see desires fulfilled. I will see a flourishing orchard full of fruit-bearing, mature trees, because the Lord loves me and tenderly cares for my heart. He sees my hurt, desire and need, and He is now moving to fulfill every one.
