John 17
Philippians 4
Isaiah 43:1-21

21 I pray for them all to be joined together as one
even as you and I, Father, are joined together as one.
I pray for them to become one with us
so that the world will recognize that you sent me.
22 For the very glory you have given to me I have given them
so that they will be joined together as one
and experience the same unity that we enjoy.
23 You live fully in me and now I live fully in them
so that they will experience perfect unity,
and the world will be convinced that you have sent me,
for they will see that you love each one of them
with the same passionate love that you have for me.

John 17:21-23

A Call for Unity

The Lord says,
We dwell in unity, in an unending circle of love and trust. There is no competition in the Trinity. We exist and dwell and operate in perfect unbroken unity. We are One. This is the call for the Church. This has always been Our desire for the Church, Our plan for the Church, Our aim for the Church – to be one, even as we are One. To be united in heart and purpose and to be in unbroken connection with Us, even as We are in unbroken connection with each other. This is the heart and the lifestyle of a purified and perfected bride, to dwell in unity with brothers and sisters, to live in unbroken connection with the Lord God Most High, with Jesus, with Holy Spirit. This is where we are going, therefore purify yourself. Therefore, love one another even as Christ loved the Church and died for her. This is a time to be set apart. Do not stoop to the rancor, the division, the finger pointing and the noise. Be firm. Be confident. Love amidst differences, and walk together united.

The world will know you by your love for one another. The Church will be radically set apart when she can choose to love those within her ranks with very different perspectives because foremost in her mind is that you all have the same Creator and serve the same God. She will be set apart as she loves, speaks in love, and responds in love to those outside of her ranks who are disruptive and angry and spewing.

Love looks like something.
Love does not look like setting aside your convictions and being run over. It looks like not allowing ideas to cause you to treat another with dishonor or disrespect. Treat every one of the My creatures with honor, because I made them — not because you agree with them and not because they deserve it. Your operating in love is about who you are, not about what they deserve.

Put all of your hope in Me. I Am your firm foundation.

4 Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let your joy overflow! 5 And let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near.
6
Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, 7 then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ. 8 Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always.

Philippians 4:4-8

War from Love and Victory

The Lord says,
I’m asking My people to choose love. I’ not calling them to lay down their weapons. I’m not calling them to retreat from the battlefield. I’m calling them to wage war from a place of victory and love.
Love of Me, love of My ways, love of the truth and love of the children is what has called you onto he battlefield. Remember to fight from love — not anger, not hurt, not as one who is oppressed or defeated.

You are to fight from victory and love.
Giving honor and respect to those who are with the adversary is very disorienting to them. It is difficult for you to operate this way until it becomes a habit and then a reflex. For those operating in alignment with spirits in opposition to Me and My ways, your honor and respect throws them off balance completely. It causes more paranoia to rise in their spirits. It causes great dis-ease and discomfort, because they are used to fighting on a lower level. They are not accustomed to warfare at these heights.

Watch.
As you war from love and victory, as you bring celebration and worship into the battle – the adversary will be confounded and spin in circles. They will stutter and stare, confused. It is a very funny and satisfying thing to watch. Do it with all joy. You belong up higher. Come up higher. Fight from up higher. Live, operate and dwell up higher. Dwell and operate and live with Us — in unity with the Godhead and in unity with your brothers and sisters. It will cost you. But it will be worth it. Be one as We are One.

How to Respond

  • Set aside the differences you have with your brothers and sisters in Christ. Focus on keeping the main things, the main things.
  • Choose unity.
  • Lead with the humble posture of honor for all of God’s creatures.
  • Sit with the Lord and ask Him for wisdom in the battles you are facing. Ask Him what fighting from victory and love looks like for you.
  • Study and meditate on John 13-17. Ask God for a revelation of unity and of unbroken connection with The Godhead.
